The food is fantastic. The service was okay with no problems, not a long wait, and they were pleasant in their overall attitude. My group sat at the outside eating area. There is no trash can available so there is trash left everywhere. We cleared a spot but were still stepping on beer cans, empty food containers, used napkins, etc. One of our group brought out a trash bag from their car and we cleaned up after ourselves. I doubt most people will be able to do that.
Been coming here for years, best food in the metro, never once had an issue.

Texas Toms is a reliable dining option with a long history of serving fresh and hot food. Orders may take a minute, but the effort is worth it. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including tenderloins and burgers. Customers love their burritos and always get their three count. Family members always get onion rings, fries and tots as well as burgers, tacos and shrimp baskets. Loaded fries and cheeseburger are super good especially late at night! They have good Italian Steaks, fish and shrimp baskets. The wait is usually minimal for fresh made food. They do charge for using plastic so take cash if you want to save about a buck. There is a few tables to eat outside the building but most take it home. If you are ever in historic northeast and hungry, this is a place to try.
