I ordered an iced handcrafted espresso drink paired with one of their fresh, hearty breakfast items, and the execution was fantastic. The coffee was rich, smooth, and flawlessly balanced with silky milk, highlighting a wonderfully round roast profile with zero bitterness, while the food tasted genuinely fresh and cooked with real care. Tomlinson Cafe on the Midwestern Seminary campus in Kansas City is such a wonderful, welcoming spot. The vibe inside is relaxed, bright, and spacious—perfect whether you're catching up on work, diving into a good book, or meeting up with friends. Sitting right alongside the bookstore, it has that classic, cozy study lounge ambiance that immediately puts you at ease.

Tomlinson Cafe is a hidden gem, offering a welcoming atmosphere with a lot of student energy. This coffee shop, located on the Midwestern campus, serves high-quality drinks and delectable homemade treats, such as the excellent pop tart. The friendly staff, including an amazing manager, provide excellent service, even helping customers select beans to buy. While seating can be limited during peak times due to the popular student hangout, the great coffee and cozy vibe make Tomlinson Cafe a must-try destination.
