“About 2 months ago, my husband and I had driven past, and I saw the sign for for the Pineapple Whip, and we had just had dinner elsewhere when we went past, so I said the next time we come by here, we are stopping. About a month later, and just waiting to be going by there again, we stopped on our way back for food and Pineapple Whip! It was so good, the pork loin was delicious and great tots too, but the Whip was amazing! sooo good! We are now going back this afternoon, 7/27/24, to celebrate the day we met 24 years ago! Can't wait! It's a lovely drive from Kimberling City! Venture out a bit for a taste of the past!“

“Since moving to Missouri a few years back white lightning was the first place I ate, and has since became a favorite comfort food. My dad and I eat a near weekly breakfast, and a few dinners a month. We love the care, and kindness the family, and team show us, you can taste the love they put in every bite. They also have the best chocolate chip cookie in all the land. Prove me wrong.“

“Went for breakfast buffet, made reservations but really didn't need to (at 9am). Cool looking restaurant, wish the weather has been nicer so we could have sat on the deck. Service was super friendly and attentive. Coffee and food were great--better than a hotel breakfast buffet, for sure! Had an omelette station, too. A tad overpriced for the size/selection of the buffet, but all the restaurants on the property are geared towards tourists and a bit overpriced.“

“This is far and away the best sports bar in town. Heck - they are pretty much my favorite place to eat, period! Their wings are the best ever - char-grilled, not fried or baked (as some mistaken reviewers have claimed. Everything is quite affordable, the service is beyond excellent, and the drinks are excellent! Do they get busy? Heck yes - and that's always a good sign! Do they occasionally have an off night? Doesn't every establishment? But do they respond to issues and take care of the situation? Absolutely! I often joke that this place is my own Cheers bar, as the staff is so good and know my name! If their food, drinks or service sucked, or was incredibly inconsistent, I'd never recommend them. But they are the best in town - and my first recommendation if someone wants a good place to watch a sporting event, they will always be my first choice to recommend!“

(From Nebraska) We absolutely love coming to Branson —- we came on June 1st which was our 34 th wedding anniversary , and Branson was our honeymoon destination 34 yrs ago . We absolutely love love love Branson and all the entertainment it offers and provides . We love all the restaurants in Branson for a selection of a wide variety of food . We have never at hero’s but chose to try it this time —- it did not disappoint what so ever we absolutely loved it the food was delicious so good it called us back for a 2nd time Within that week —- the first time we had their fried chicken —- which is always kinda a concern being away with not knowing if it’s going to be greasy or not as my husband has a touchy stomach with greasy food . We loved the fried chicken !!!!! Literally lived it non greasy and very tolerable and did not upset my husbands stomach —- it was again very impressive and delicious . Toward the end of our week we chose to go back to hero’s once again and we were once again very very pleased . The waitresses were so nice and so accommodating and it was just he best in atmosphere —- we would be extremely extremely sad if this place ever closed because it’s on our return list for our next return to Branson . Oh and did I mention the breaded corn it’s a hit it was so unique and so different and it was yummy!!! Thanks hero tastes and taps you have us as a return customer to hero’s . It’s highly recommended over and beyond in a 5 star!!!!“

“Years ago (about 98-99) my father took me to silver dollar city. We walked through the park and I enjoyed the smells and sounds of everything. Then we walked by a magical stall with huge skillets with fire blazing underneath and mounds of the most mouth watering food I have ever seen. The smell alone was enough to make my stomach rumble. I asked for some and my father uttered the magic words most children grew up hearing "No, we can't afford it". The memory of that food would forever be etched in my mind. I'm now an adult with adult money and no one to say no to me. I finally had that magic fried food and it was everything I wanted it to be. Delicious and amazing. If I ever have the chance to come back I will definitely be wrong here again.“

“We visited this play about 45 years ago and decided to come again to refresh my memory of the story.. My only issues were the older gentleman, I can't remember the name,Had an accent that was too thick for me to understand most of his words, And we sat in the first 4 rows... Also,the character named Ollie, was put on a bit overdone.. But the production was done well, the horses and others animals worked well..I enjoyed the show and would recommend it!“

“I have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and I keep going back! A lot of the food is made from scratch and they have large portions! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! It’s just a great place all around. If you haven’t eaten there yet, I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!“

“The food here is spectacular. It's a little more expensive that you would pay in town but once you see the portion size, you'll understand why. They seem to always be understaffed for some reason which takes so long time for specifically alcoholic beverages, and appetizers to come out in a timely manner. Plus getting your ticket at the end takes a wee bit.

But you can always make a reservation here and I promise the food is always going to be delicious. Worth the wait.“

“I totally recommend visiting this bar/restaurant! The atmosphere and decor was definitely a cool 80’s vibe and right down our alley!! The drinks we had were amazing and delicious! The Thriller, Purple Rain and Pretty in Pink drinks are a must try!! Our waiter, Jerry, was the best by far that we’d experienced in Branson! He was fun, helpful to us newbies and a total delight! “It was a great day and I highly recommend purchasing Tram tickets as the guide Joe was amazing with knowledge of history and the background of the animals. It is worth the extra cost. I recommend that you get reservations early for the tram as Joe said the animals are more active in the morning. The animals were active and able to get the best pictures up close.“

“We tried Shepherd’s Grill for the first time. It was a Sunday for lunch with our church group just after noon and it wasn’t busy at all whereas other places in the area were swamped. My wife and I shared a sampler platter for $23.00 and my soft drink was $3.00. We thought the service was good and that the portions were worth the price. We both ate our fill and still took home food. However, we both considered the meats to be just satisfactory as the ribs were not falling off the bone and none of the meats were all that savory or tender. But for the price, we were satisfied and will most likely come back again some other Sunday with our church group.“

“My husband, son & I are saying in Lampe from Boston, MA. We have nothing but amazing feedback for The Fillin’ Station! It was so yummy and the staff was friendly. My 6-year-old loves a variety of foods, but never really vocalizes his favorites. He said that the Fillin Station was a 10/10 and the best food we had. If a kiddo said it, you know it’s the truth! If you’re in the Lampe area, check this place out, no questions about it!“

“We love Cheddars. It is a corporate restaurant and our expectations are consistent with that model. Our meal was as expected with the following exceptions:

1. It is my fault for not checking the ticket prior to departure, but I was charged $7.29 for chips & queso dip after redeeming "free with code" coupon. LESSON: Thoroughly, check your bill.

2. Buffalo rollup: shell was dry and crusty after being seared on a griddle.

We will be back though this visit had a few negatives. The staff and waitress were outstanding!“

“I recently visited Steak ’n Shake, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and lived up to expectations, and the prices were very fair for what you get. However, the new setup without servers takes some getting used to. It felt a bit odd, and I think adding more signs or instructions around the ordering process would really help customers navigate things more easily. If they can make the self-service system a bit clearer, it would be even better. But for good food at a good price, it’s still worth a visit!“

“We went here for my daughters 9th birthday breakfast. Once seated the server was great! He made sure our drinks were refilled and overall a great server. Wish we had more servers like him. Food came out quickly. And as usual it was very good! Even though it was my daughters 9th birthday. Not only did he bring out ice cream with whipped topping and sprinkles but he brought one for my oldest daughter as well. Such a sweet gesture.
