“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and despite an unexpected hiccup, I can’t recommend it enough! I arrived near the end of the day, straight from the airport after a trip from California, to meet my family. Unfortunately, the chef had decided to close the kitchen early, which meant nearly half the menu wasn’t available. While that could’ve soured the experience, the staff turned it into something truly memorable.Our server, Jennifer, was an absolute gem. She was kind, apologetic, and went above and beyond to ensure we still felt taken care of despite the limited options. Her warmth and effort made all the difference. Then, the manager on duty, Matt, stopped by to personally apologize as well. His professionalism and genuine kindness shone through—he was more concerned about us not having the perfect experience than anything else. Both Jennifer and Matt are invaluable assets to this place; they’re the kind of people who make you feel like you matter. The food we did get was delicious, but honestly, the service was the star of the show. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to making things right. I’ll absolutely be returning to this establishment next time I’m in town. Kudos to them for finding the best people to represent their business—Jennifer and Matt deserve all the praise!“

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“

“Everything I've had here has been delicious. Burgers are fresh tasting, pretzel bites are my favorite, Soups, chili, salads, are great as sides or a meal on their own. AND desserts! Oh boy! Kudos for keeping your cool while getting yelled at. Our server was also so kind, I observed her trying to learn sign language for a table that was hearing impaired. “Shout out to our server and the GM on recovery. My husband is vegetarian. He ordered a vegetarian omelet. He took a couple of bites, before he realized there was meat in his omelet. This was very big, he has not eaten meat in over 3 years. But our server was so quick to do everything to make it right. And so did the GM. Life isn't about the mistakes we make, but how we recover. They recovered so impressively. Even with that, it was a great experience and we will come back. We learned a valuable lesson, to always check the omelets before eating. I highly recommend this place. With great leadership, you build great staff. And I believe that GM is a phenomenal leader.“

“Cool little old pub in downtown Lee’s Summit. Building materials all seem original giving the place a cool old time feel. The food was delicious with Happy Hour deals making every appetizer $6. I ordered the bones and a pizza, both of which were good. For those that have experienced Pyramid Pizza’s bones, these are good, but not quite at the same level. I would recommend coming here to any friend or family member.“

“I would have left the review on their site but my fingers messed up the id # so here it goes. Exelant greeting by Danielle on the ph to let me find out the wait. Maddie, our wait person took our order and checked back on every corse. Friendly and well versed on all items of the menu. We had allergic issues and she made sure our dishes were free of any items in that area. Even the plates we were done with were taken away. The experience was pleasant, and peaceful. From start to finish this was our best visit to any steakhouse in Kansas City MO. Lees Summit location on Monday 26th 2025“

They also made their wedding cake and cupcakes for guests. So beautiful! They set up, bussed tables, took everything down and packed up leftovers for us. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The food all came out great and Linda has mastered the art of timing making every interaction with either near or complete perfect timing and her level of service met or exceeded all my expectations. I cannot reccomend this location or Linda enough.“

“We have not been to Chilis grill and bar for a long time. Decided to go there tonight and it was phenomenal. Ordered the double decker burger and it reminded me of cooking out on the grill at home. This burger had everything for outdoor cooking, the flavor, the tenderness, the taste and the leftover juice to remind you that you made the right choice.

We are going back soon and more often.

“My husband and I have been regularly eating at Red Lobster for 25+ years, but we have only just introduced our 3 kids to it. Jaylon McClintock was our server on 5/25/25 amd he is one of the best servers I EVER had. I'm not just saying at Red Lobster, but of anywhere. He was incredibly kind and patient with our group of 6, 3 if which were kids. He was able to anticipate needs the specifically related to kids that I have not experienced with other servers. I made sure to tell him before we left that he is truly good at what he does, and when he asked me to do this survey, I didn't hesitate to say yes. Jaylon was the piece that elevated our experience. The food was as delicious as it has always been, Jaylon's energy made it exceptional. :)“
