“This is a place that my inner grandpa not only loves, but craves. The food is of a kind that used to be ubiquitous and is now nearly extinct: excellent, unpretentious and plentiful homestyle American food served on plastic plates with enough for two meals at a price point that rivals terrible fast food options for a full meal. Though they are famous for their fried chicken, I check their specials regularly for the meatloaf and the Polish sausage, and my go-to is their Chicken Fried Steak, the best in the city by a long shot in my opinion. I always get exactly what I expect and love every fork full, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. This is legitimately one of my favorite places to eat in Saint Louis.“

“I’ve been eating at this Chick-fil-A since they opened and I have never had a single issue. Today, however I may have ordered something a little complicated when I got home the food that I received wasn’t at all what I ordered I went in and spoke with the manager.I believe her name was Patricia . She was so kind and explained to me the error that happened and how it happened. Rather than just give me some pickles to fix the issue and tomatoes to fix the issue. She wanted to make sure that I had warm hot and fresh food to feed my family.

“Came in exspecting hot just fine on some chicken fish gyros salad with the Chicago flavor maybe,since I am from Chicago,not only did Malik and family match the Chicago flavor swag.they made me feel like a family member coming over to have a family meal. The tenders are always fresh, don't understand how they do it.

Almost every where else you have an occasional bad visit. Where the food is cool or the fries are warm.

But it has never happened at canes to me before and I eat there about 9 x a month

The flour needed changing also. There were clumps of breading on the chicken. And in the box.If I did not live so far away , I would have returned it. We managed to eat it because it was late and it was edible . But not up to Lee's standards. I worked for the company before in a manager position. So I know the standards . That was not it.“

“Been years since I been inside this place for food, then when I seen it back open I went inside to order and what was a walk up window in front was gone and an entire bar magically appeared when I opened the door, didn't look anything like it used to look. I seen vinyl records on the he wall behind the DJ area that was by 1 of the front windows the other front window area looked like a small section for a dance floor. The Bar was in the Rear and yes the still serve the food. It was early afternoon if it was even past noon when I discovered the new renovated "Arkansas Fried Chicken" I can't wait to visit it at night. Ow & check it out.“

But, they're still open and I stopped by twice last month. The food is still great and the service was excellent.
