“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.“

“Edit..we have been back since my review. The rude guy at the door is gone. Everyone is friendly and the food is beyond amazing!!Make sure if you want to try this place out, you make reservations. My friend and I decided last minute to try the restaurant out because I had read about it on line. When we arrived, we were informed that there would be a wait. I asked about seating at the bar because most places it is open seating. Let me tell you the host was so condescending that it was uncomfortable. There is no waiting area and he acted alarmed that I was going to approach the bar to get a glass of wine. He then informed us it was a 2 hour wait. After driving around forever trying to find a place to park and having much anticipation of trying Sado we just left. I rarely leave a bad review anywhere but I realize this place is new and hope they work on their customer service. I am sure the food will be amazing“

“The food was overall good but not great or life changing. We are big fans of Vicia and were hoping for the same complexity of flavors but did not find it in all the dishes here - only some of them.We ordered:Gougeres - cheese fondue and popovers. Fondue was good but the popovers were kind of doughy and dense.Beef tartare - fine, not great - the tartare was a bit flavorless and flat despite being served with a jusFrench onion soup - good! No complaints.Mussels - the star of the show, 5/5, some of the best mussels I’ve hadPain perdu - a carmelized dessert with toasted brioche and Clementine’s ice cream that was delicious.Special shout out to the mocktail Papillon. I don’t like when mocktails are just fruit juice but this one really had the complexity and slight bitterness of a cocktail.Overall we would come back but there are flavor profiles of some dishes that could be elevated to make this a 5/5 meal.“

“One of our favorite places in stl. Great wine list, yummy food (mac and cheese every time for me), and kind and knowledgeable staff. Tastings every Monday night, new handmade pasta every Tuesday, and monthly family dinners. Non-pretentious and relaxing. Great place for a date night or catching up with friends!“

“10000 stars. See below for a truly honest review of my interaction with this fabulous establishment. They truly deserve high business flow. The newest and best spot in st.louis!I try to give business to new venues in St.Louis around my birthday, yet so many have f&b minimums, can't accommodate small groups, or just show no desire to get business. However, when I called videira to inquire about reserving a space for a small group of 15 people, the owner, Mykel, was so nice and accommodating, and was able to give us space and seperate checks for the group.I confirmed a date and time and the day of (never stepping foot in the venue before), I walked in and found a truly beautiful establishment. Excellent taste of style, including the bathrooms. The bartender, Austin, made incredible drinks. The "as if" cocktail was my fav. Our waitress, Jordan, was great. In my group of 15, all of whom usually go to clayton, they all said it was not only the best cocktails they've ever had, but also, excellent food.To mention, they have the best espresso martini in stlouis! They also gave me a complimentary frozen pink rose champagne dessert, which was fantastic! We had not one complaint. It was so nice. Pleasant. Accommodating. Decent. Professional. The owner checked on us a couple times and poured such appreciation toward us for being there.Parking was also easy. I'm thrilled with everything videira provided us all, and have high hopes it will continue to be successful! Well done!“

“My partner and I enjoyed the to-die-for veal lasagna and scrumptious braised beef ravioli with octopus to start. I cannot recommend the food more highly, and the cocktails are competitively tasting! With art and low light, the environment inside was lovely to enjoy dinner and drinks in. Don't pass this one up!“

“Had the chance to visit this beautifully decorated establishment in the heart of Ferguson. The owner and lead bartender were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the wine selection and the house Margarita is in a lane of its own. It's plenty of seating and atmosphere is a vibe. There blueberry red wine will also see me again. Love! Love! Love! Can't wait to go back!“
“Such a fun place! Amazing interior design & huge back patio. Everything done with an artist’s touch. Excellent wine choices, and craft beer choices. I particularly liked the craft cocktails! Super fun and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend! Great spot for date or small group.“

“Me and my husband have been here a few times and we absolutely love it. This weekend was our best experience yet. We came to celebrate our 4th anniversary and our waitress was just incredibly personable and sweet, also very attentive. She was definitely busy (as this restaurant always is) yet still went over the menu thoroughly, answered all our questions, and gave great recommendations on both food and drinks. The lamb chops that she recommended were absolutely incredible, as well as the beef tartare.Thank you so much Amber for engaging with us and making our anniversary even more special. We loved that you asked how we met and stayed to listen for so much more.Of course we will be back, but if you’re thinking of celebrating something special, this is the place for you. You won’t be rushed as the food and drinks do take some time but the quality and craft has always been consistent.“
“We love Clayton Winehouse! We frequently go there at the beginning of date night for a glass (or two, three) before dinner. The staff is wonderful: friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about wine. We hosted a party in their downstairs event space which was wonderful. The even price was reasonable and they were so very easy to work with.“

“Food is terrific ambience is good service excellent , cocktails are top notch the real problem is the corkage fee on wine you bring in and the sommelier is very arrogant about what wines they have ! They charge a ridiculous fee to begin with then explain to you that if the wine you bring is in there cellar your price ice for corkage higher ! He explained to me that they want to sell their wine !“

“The food was first rate. It wafted me back to Rome and Venice. The service was very good too. The price was very good considering the quality of the food. The decor and overall ambience was cool in both senses of the word. The noise level reminded me of a pub in Liverpool city center on a Friday night. It was LOUD and they would benefit from an investment in some sound deadening materials or decorations. That was the only drawback and, to be fair, it was only loud because everybody in there was having a great time.“

“I absolutely love Vino. the venue is always friendly and welcoming. They offer indoor seating with couches as well as tables. AND a sidewalk patio that has heaters for when the weather cools. And the drink selections do not disappoint. Although their name implies wine, they have a full bar replete with whatever spirit you prefer. I have not eaten any food yet, but I'm sure that is awesome as well.“

“Amazing wine pairing experience. At first the kitchen had an issue with the temp of the pasta water, however the server (Jill) gave us an additional glass of Prosecco to augment the wait for the initial dish. The evening flowed marvelously from dish to dish and wine pairing to wine pairing. Can’t wait to go back !!“

“Service was so friendly and efficient! You order and pay at the cashier and then someone brings your food to the table. The ambiance was fine. It's basically a wine shop with a row of tables. Great for a casual lunch. There is a display of sardine cans and such above the kitchen -- very cute! I had the prosciutto sandwich. It was delicious!“

“This is such a nice place for a date night or evening out with friends. They have a patio for nice weather, and the inside is intimately lit with small tables and some bar seats. I only ordered wine, but the food looked good as well. They do tastings on Tuesdays.Parking: Street parking is metered during the day, free in evenings. There's also a lot.“

“Absolutely “11 on a 10 point scale” — outstanding food, ambience and service. The guidance of server Leya with respect to cut and preparation of steaks was spot-on, the particular table and additional touches selected for our anniversary dinner were just perfect , and the level of attention of the entire team, from table set up to the manager, made us feel special and appreciated. Cannot recommend highly enough!“

“We realize it was Valentine's Day, so that may have been the culprit here. But... we were encouraged to order all our courses up front, which we won't do again. Each subsequent course arrived long before we were finished with the previous one, leading to a crowded table and a sense of being rushed, which wasn't what we were seeking for a VD meal.... Food delicious, wait staff lovely, all else good. But timing of the courses was oblivious to the pace of consumption.“

“Went for the Rocky Maverick show 10/16 and it was my first time on this side of the venue. I walked in and the guy who greeted me looked at the digital ticket, then led to my seat. I just love the ambiance and the lighting makes it so much more intimate. I didn't eat food, but definitely ordered a couple of whiskey mules that were strong and delicious! Shout out to Louis(the bartender) for his professionalism, but still able to mingle with partrons and bartend properly! Bathrooms were super clean, but inconveniently on the lower level lolbvs. I gotta say Rocky Maverick and his band left us with an experience to last a lifetime and I look forward to attending more shows.“
“What a cute gem in Maplewood! i don’t know much about wine, but i told Brian, the owner, what i liked and he introduced me to some wines and vintners I didn’t know about and liked very much!He is passionate about small wineries and wine makers who are also really passionate about their craft. It’s a very chill place, and they do an occasional wine school and pairings. I’ll definitely be back!“

“My wife and I held our rehearsal dinner (30 people) at Scarlett's Wine Bar. We reached out to the owner, JC, a few weeks prior to the event and he could not have been more helpful. He told us that he would take care of us, and he really did. The food was fantastic and on schedule. The service was friendly and top notch - he even made some cute and tasty mocktails for those who were not there for the wine. We had pizzas, mussels, steak frites, chicken, salads, crepes, cheese plates, and more. Everything was fantastic and the setup was perfect, as we essentially had the entire back area of the restaurant to ourselves. It was a fun, festive atmosphere and JC made sure to come by throughout the evening to make sure that we were taken care of. I've eaten at Scarlett's previously and have always come away impressed and I am thankful we trusted an important evening to JC and co. Merci Beacoup!“

“My friend and I stopped in at Barcelona for some drinks and tapas - I really liked my sangria, very light and refreshing. Her red wine was full bodied and delicious - also a heavy pour! We got the goat cheese tomato sauce dip with fresh garlic bread as well as spinach and mushroom empanadas. The goat cheese dip was yummy and warm and fresh, the garlic bread was fresh out of the oven and the perfect addition. The spinach and mushroom empanadas were good, lots of cumin in them haha. They came with a yummy dip, but I also dipped them in the goat cheese dip. Our waiter was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. The overall ambiance was nice, it wasn't too full on a Tuesday evening, but we didn't mind!“

“I had almost 2 hours before I was to board my plane. I love a good wine bar. We have plenty in Dallas, so I thought I’d give it a try. I give them five stars! I bought a bottle of wine to take home with me, I had a panini and a flight of wine. The staff were very nice and personable. I loved it.“
“I celebrated my birthday at POP. We had a big group and the place was absolutely amazing. I made reservations in advance and they were very accommodating and messaged me in a very quick manner. “We went to Brennan's on a Saturday night and I feel like we were lucky to get a table inside! We were there kind of early because we had an early dinner reservation. It was packed but we found a table big enough for 6. We just ordered drinks and a late night snack. It was really loud and hard to hear with a group that big, but that's alright. The drinks and service were good! It's a great place in the Central West End to go for before or after dinner drinks“

“Loved my server, nice ambience! Tater tots, homemade w truffle good not great, kind of mushy texture, which I didn't care for, though good flavor. Wife had the beef checks w fries (pomme frites) this was yummy loved the flavor and combination. The black lobster, just okay, the rice, to my palate lacked flavor, it was just black rice while the lobster was fine, again nothing special just lobster meat. I'm always looking for something that takes my meal above and beyond at a place like this. Margs were fabulous.“

“Celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Fleming’s tonight. Ordered a medium rare ribeye and it came out medium. They were very apologetic and got us a medium rare one promptly. Excellent food, service, and management. Much better and smarter than J. Gilbert’s who got us a bad steak and wouldn’t apologize if or replace it. They just shrugged. Looking forward to our next visit at Fleming’s despite the rather pricey price tag. At least you get what you pay for there!“

“Great lunch, brunch spot located in the heart of Webster Groves. Parking can be a doozie but once inside it’s a fantastic ambiance. Perfect for small groups or an intimate date setting. The bar is spacious; there’s also a nice outdoor patio to enjoy on beautiful weather days. Menu is broad (there’s something for everyone to satiate over).I recommend the crab cakes for sure. The beet salad was not only delicious; the presentation was gorgeous. Price point is reasonable, service was pleasant.“

“The food greatly surpassed my expectations. Sometimes in a trendy restaurant, it’s like they put more effort into the vibe and atmosphere and they neglect the food part. Not the case here. The tacos were awesome, we got 4 different kinds and all 4 were unique flavor combinations and all delicious. Great first meal in St. Louis.“
