“My Husband and I wanted a change of scenery and decided on a country drive and some tasty food! Philly’s never fails to be pleasing! The wings are large and with 3 types of pizza crust there is something for everyone! We decided to go with a taco pizza and it was wonderful! Great for a family with the XL size and boom we had dinner to take home! Thanks again! RN and AN“

“So excited that this place is open and making it after a year and can't wait to see how their menu evolves. They have adult cocktails and other drinks for brunch and great brunch menu items. The service was immaculate; they are very attentive. And, the prices are right for the quality of food.Dietary restrictions: My only issue is that I can't eat eggs, soy, or beef, and so the items on the menu were pretty limiting but that's not their issue, it's mine! They were able to accommodate me with vinegar and oil for my salad, which most places can't! I can't wait to see how they evolved over the years.“

“Counter service style like chipotle, but the food is way better. I got a chicken burrito which was excellent! They have beer and margaritas available. I had a top shelf margarita and it was very good. It was our first time there and The gentleman working the counter were helpful and fast. Huge fan of this place already and looking forward to going back.“

Balducci Vineyards Wineries • $$
6601 S Missouri 94, Augusta - 7.26 miles

“When we stay in Washington, Missouri, our winery hopping itinerary goes: (1) Montelle Winery, (2) Augusta Winery Tasting Room, (3) Noboleis Vineyards, (4) Balducci Vineyards and (5) Blumenhof Winery. With Balducci being our second to last stop of the day. What we love about Balducci is its spread out campus feel and dance floor! By this time in the day, you can imagine we are feeling good. And the vibes at Balducci do NOT disappoint. They usually have live music and by 3pm on a good weather day everyone is up and dancing. They have a more limited selection than some of the other wineries so it might make sense for your group to split a bottle or two (versus the tastings or glasses).“

“12 family members visiting Washington, MO dropped in to Joe’s for lunch about 1:30 on a weekday and received excellent service, a delicious lunch, and scrumptious desserts. They let us move tables so we could all sit together and even offered to take our order at the table rather than having all of us come up to the counter to order since we were such a large group. I would certainly recommend the food and I feel we received wonderful service!“

“The Sunday buffet had some very nice choices. Although our own fault, we came in after work about an hour before the buffet was supposed to close. Therefore, the food was dried out and not much left. But it was still okay. We both still had plenty of delicious food to eat. Next time, if our store is slow for the day, maybe we'll close early enough to get there in time for fresher food.We sat at the bar. The bartender, Cody, I think, was very personable and pours a good drink. He's a very nice young man. I recommend going in to visit him any time.My husband asked him where the desert was that he previously mentioned. He said he didn't know and went back to the kitchen to speak with the chef and find out. A few minutes later, the chef delivered 2 of the biggest pieces of lemon cake I have ever seen in my life to us.Normally, I am not a big fan of Lemon anything, especially cake. But one bite into this thing, and I could NOT stop!!! OMG! That was the best thing to have hit MY taste buds in MANY years!!!Although this place is located within a private golf course/subdivision, the Clubhouse Bar & Grill is open to the public. They also offer outdoor seating on a beautiful huge deck outside in the back overlooking the beautiful golf course when the weather is appropriate. The patio and the main level attire are casual in the warmer months; shorts, T-shirts, shoes, and flip flops are okay. When we were there, they had just finished their pre- grand opening of the upper level. We did not get to see that. We were told it is staged in old vintage style furniture with a completely different atmosphere. We plan to make it back someday very soon to get the entire experience of this unique little secret place strategically stashed away in the foothills of our precious, beautifully, landscapped by God, State of Missouri. It really is quite amazing!“
