“Eating here has made my life complete. I left as a different person. The sun shined brighter and although I was so full, I felt light at the same time. The food was so. SO. SO! amazing. Words can not describe how good the food is. The lighting was perfect, the atmosphere was cozy, and the workers were incredibly kind. The food was so fresh, so hot, and so amazing. I have confidence in my heart that the food's recipe is someone great grandmother's, because it was crafted so perfectly and with so much love that it healed my soul. The crab lagoon was crunchy and cheesy in all the right ways. 10/10. The rice was perfectly shaped and perfectly tasting even before I added more flavor to it. 100/10. The orange chicken was so crunchy, so flavorful, so hit, and so fresh, I genuinely don't think I've ever had anything like it and nothing can replicate it. 1000/10. If you ever. EVER. In Kansas City, YOU HAVE TO GO! Doesn't matter how far, the drive will be worth it. Hell, even if you're not in Missouri, you've got to taste this. “Ordered the sushi Bento with pork gyoza, miso soup, and Chinese jasmine tea. My sister and I left stuffed! There was not a single thing we got with our boxes that missed. The interior lighting is perfect and location is in a fun part of the city. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend for tasty Japanese food in downtown KC. I'm on the fence if I wanna order the ice cream mochi as I write this. Maybe next time... this place claps.“

“I don't get all these bad reviews this place is great! We eat here a couple times a month and have always been impressed with the taste and quality of the food. In addition you get to see them cooking your food fresh and it usually comes out in less then 10 minutes. I think alot of these bad reviews are just people that are angry about having a rough night at the slots or tables and are taking it out on these very nice people who make excellent food.“
