“Had my first date here with a weird (in a nice way) quirky girl. We both got drinks we hated. She got a matcha green tea, basically tasted like the fertalizer in the back. I think thats the goal with those. I got an americano which was very strong.
Anyway we got married.“

“This is one of my FAVES to get coffee from. A couple of years ago they had a ‘Cinnamon Toast Crunch’ flavored iced coffee that I was absolutely obsessed with, I went today and asked what might be similar since it hadn’t come back to the menu for awhile, they asked me to give them a second and they came back with a solution to my craving within a minute. They went above and beyond to ask if I wanted cinnamon on top, were super efficient, and so kind! It tastes exactly the same as what I remembered and I’m currently chugging it now. For 2 lg coffees it was only $15! Make a trip over to see them, it’s worth it!!“

“This place is the jewel of the neighborhood and of KCNE. Here, not only good things happen, but they are possible because of the owner’s mission of creating a place for making dreamers’ dream a reality. From providing a space for yoga, meditation, selling crafts, singing, delicious healthy food and drinks plus all his employees are happy people and soon greet you by name. Vegans and organics are safe here too. Without PH Coffee the Art Garden would not have had the necessary support and resources it needed to start and grow. Thank you Eric!“

“Spokes Management was able to host us for a holiday party which was an absolute hit for all those in attendance. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Dan and Robin were not just working behind the bar but they were all over the place helping us with anything we needed. They were incredibly personable all night. Spokes is a top notch space with amazing coffee and food. I can’t wait to go back!“

“Love this place, this food and the staff. They are always sweet to us. Doesn't matter if we eat in or take out! We do a lot and I mean A LOT of curbside here. We live down the street so easy access but know if the food was subpar or the people were awful, we would go elsewhere. I didn't rate on Atmosphere because we rarely go in these days.“

“I LOVE it here. The baristas are always so sweet, and the coffee is always delicious. I highly recommend the honeycomb latte. The ham and cheese croissant and the everything bagels are delicious as well. A little pricey but worth it. Great people all around.“

“Large book collection, free wi-fi (even in the oarking lot which is huge). This library is frequented by families with small children and toddlers, but generally the areas designated for kids are well separated from the main open floor plan, so other than when those families are arriving or departing, it's relatively quiet. The large building seems newer or recently remodeled. There are several tables with in-floor electrical receptacles (to plug in laptop or device charger, for example). I've been a few times and it was easy to read ir study because of the quiet atmosphere (ya know, like a library). There are family restrooms on the east end of the building, and a nursing room with upholstered chairs and a solid door for privacy; and 'men's and women's' restrooms on the west end. All three times I've been, it was well staffed and there are several self service kiosks. A great library just north of the Liberty shopping center area on what appears to be a historic property with manicured grounds.“

“I’ve heard of Equal Minded in the past, but recently a friend hosted an event there and it was great! The space was easy to set up in, the coffee and snacks were great & the customer service. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

“Spokes was a lifesaver during my recent trip to Kansas City. Eric and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.The cafe itself is an absolute gem. It has a comfortable, inviting atmosphere that gave me the perfect place to hang out while I waited on my hotel room to be ready. Whether you choose a cozy armchair or a spot at a spacious table, there's a perfect place to relax and get some work done.But the true stars of the show were the coffee and the food. My Americano was rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Exactly what I needed to kickstart my day. And let's not forget the incredible club sandwich!By the time I was ready to check into my hotel, I felt refreshed, productive, and most importantly, welcomed. If you find yourself downtown Kansas City, do yourself a favor and head to Spokes. You won't be disappointed!“
“FANTASTIC MUSEUM! My daughter and I are both history nuts and love this place! The staff members are very knowledgeable and are so sweet! It was my first trip and I could’ve spent 2 or 3 days in here and still wouldn’t have viewed everything. The sweetest man stopped us as we were exiting and asked us if we saw the letter of the luckiest human ever. Of course we didn’t, we had overlooked it. He took us back in and showed us a letter of a soldier who entered and exited service on the same day…just hours apart. This gentleman loved his job and it showed! We will be back, time and time again!“

“I work downtown and have been trying all the coffee shops near my building to see which one will become my go-to. The coffee was good (just a standard iced latte), but the service and atmosphere leave a bit to be desired. The barista was on his phone the entire time he was making my drink and taking my order, it felt like I was inconveniencing him with my business even though I was the only person in the cafe at the time. There's not a lot of seating options, especially for a group of more than 2 people. It's definitely a grab-it-and-go kind of place. I'll likely visit again since it is so close to my office, and the beverage was fine, but it's not my favorite overall. I'd rather go to the Made in KC cafe a block or so up.“

“XR is truly a hidden gem in the Crossroads. Their brick oven pizzas are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had! Reik, the bartender, makes some of the most delicious and well crafted cocktails I’ve tried. The management is always present and attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly. Even during peak weekend hours, Katie goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of, which says a lot. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, I highly recommend it. Super chill vibe, amazing drinks, great food, and even a pool table it’s a perfect spot all around.“

“I love this place! I’m not much of a cigar smoker, but I do enjoy one every once in a while, and this spot is perfect for it. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the drinks are amazing. Every now and then, they even have live music, which adds to the great experience.“
