“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

While having several different complete models for sale in both traditional and electric setups, the storefront also sports a huge selection of quality gear, parts and accessories. In the same space, there is a gathering area with taps and delicious pizza available for purchase. Velo is a convenient place to stop by while out cycling.

“I was lucky enough to host my company Christmas party in the popup holiday bar this year. I CANNOT say enough great things about the venue, food, drinks and staff! Everything was incredible and such a great value! The staff was on point. From the beginning Alexa, the event coordinator, and Adam, the general manager, made the whole process so seamless and amazing. We barely lifted a finger and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and fun everything was! We will 100% be having our Christmas party here every year from now on. “Tried for the 1st time since they opened. Huge open space with a nicely designed and very large bar as the centerpiece of the restaurant. Plenty of TVs for viewing games, with table and booth seating throughout.
Ordered the Beef Birria Grilled Cheese and the Reuben. The beef Birria was a pretty good sandwich. The consomme it came with for dipping complimented the sandwich nicely. Thought there might have been too many jalapeños on the sandwich, as it kind of overpowered the taste of the beef and cheese, but a unique spin on turning birria tacos into a sandwich nonetheless.
The reuben was lights out great! Our server Lacey highly recommended it, and she wasn't wrong. Eaten a lot of Reubens, and it is one of the best I've had in KC. Both sandwiches were accompanied with pub fries, which were very solid.
Overall a very good experience. The space was nice, food was above expectation, and Lacey provided great service. Won't hesitate to try again when I am at Harrah's.“

“I’ve heard of Equal Minded in the past, but recently a friend hosted an event there and it was great! The space was easy to set up in, the coffee and snacks were great & the customer service. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

“Went in for my first date with my boyfriend. Got the caterpillar roll, godzilla roll, some nigiri, crab rangoon, dumplings, and miso soup. Amazing food with a clean environment and friendly staff! They even provided complimentary sake and dessert since we had ordered the ice cream mochi and some hot sake. 10/10 will be back to smash more food and make more fun memories! ❤️“

“I came to Kansas City over the weekend and experienced the delight that is your restaurant. If I ever get back there you’ll see me again. The food was amazing, but I loved the words on your menu and the whole vibe that comes from locally sourced goods. Your menu spoke of kindness and community. I accidentally left my phone in your bathroom when I left. Since we were on our way back to Chicago it was definitely something I needed to find and it could have been a completely stressful experience. It wasn’t. You weren’t just serving up food. I went out to the car so my friend could call my son and have him find my iPhone the thing but we never got to that. A lovely gentleman in a blue track jacket came knocking gleefully at the window. They had found it and he was so happy to tell me. When I came back in to get it your restaurant was packed and it was very busy and yet I felt like every person there had just stopped everything for a moment to find my phone. The excitement when they gave it back to me was amazing. It was a truly beautiful experience. I totally had the New York omelette, but what I was really ordering was the “cultivate kindness” printed right there on the menu. It was even better than the food and that’s saying something because those rosemary potatoes were the bomb diggity ;) Thank you 💙♥️💙“

They stopped selling the tangerine blossom tea but he had a little bit left and sold it to me. Made my entire year already, I will treat it like gold and cherish every cup.
