“One of the few coffee shops nearby that's open past 4pm!

Went to this coffee shop while we were in town running some errands, and I'm glad we did! Hubby and I each got a Milkyway specialty drink and they were delicious. You rarely see coffee shops doing smoothies, so I went ahead and got myself a Strawberry-Mango-Banana and it was SO good. The fruit is clearly super fresh and the sweetness level was perfect. Service was also quick, the barista brought the drinks right to us at our seats.

Atmosphere is very quiet, but not in an empty way. There's chill music playing over the speakers, and it's at a good enough volume to hear but not so loud it distracts from conversation or work. Place felt super cozy and we'll definitely be coming back here next time we're in town.“

“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. Everything sounded so good it was tough to decide what to get. We all got different meals to share and all of it was delicious! And pretty big portions, oh it was SO good. “Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.“

“We ordered Russos delivery to cater our wedding and they surpassed our expectations. For $1,000, we fed 80+ people and still had leftovers for days. Definitely ordered too much but that’s because we didn’t realize the subs were so packed with meats and cheese. Probably the best subs we have ever eaten. The pastas, fruits, cheeses, and salads were delicious as well. Our only disappointment was with the roast beef sandwiches which were lacking in the meat department as compared to the subs. But overall, a superb experience. We will definitely be ordering again as needed. Well done!“

Excellent food and service. However, they have recently updated their menu with higher prices. $4.15 for coffee or tea!!! Ouch. Never have I ever seen coffee or iced tea that expensive. Food prices are reasonable. Beverages for two people cost $8.30, the cost of a breakfast burrito. What gives??“
