“Vivola Express is easily my favorite sandwich place in St. Louis. It's not just the amazing sandwiches though, and I'm not kidding when I say amazing. The guys in the shop make everyone feel so welcome. My personal favorites are the chipilo and the spicy meatball pepp. Give these guys a try!“

“I want to start by saying I LOVE GIOIA'S.... However they did something today that is totally wrong. I had placed a four sandwich order with work colleagues. My order was a roast beef sami with AU JUS... with out the AU JUS the sandwich is dry and not very desirable. It was delivered by door dash and the AU JUS was forgotten. I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! You guys are better than this and I would expect for you to make right on a mess up that YOU made. I think it will be a while before I order with my colleagues from Gioias. Its a shame because we were going there at least once a week.“

“Went through the drive thru 12/9:24 around 5 pm. The employees working the drive thru were amazing. I hadn’t been to lions choice in well over a year and they were so helpful it was such a great change to the usual rude drive thru service at every other place on the rock road. I didn’t get their names but I hope your employers know what a great group of employees they have. Oh food was great also I don’t like roast beef because it’s pink in the middle. They offered to cook it longer I never even thought to ask this question. 10/10“

“We had lunch at Big Belly Deli today. We shared a Roast Beef on Cheese Garlic Bread (I forget the official name) and it was delicious. House salad was good also, really enjoyed the Balsamic Vinaigrette. Good, quick, friendly service.“

“Discovered this gem after going to a sale across the street for the old pharmacy that was closing and I'm glad I did! Food was excellent, service was great, there was live music on a Saturday afternoon and the decor was super fun for a Gen Xer like myself. Great place in a lovely neighborhood. “I got a double cheese burger. First this is one good burger!!! 2nd the staff here is in replaceable. The lady who took my order was so nice the food was hot and fast I think I waited maybe 5 mins for my burger and they were definitely busy but still got my order FAST! This is an easy 10/10 next time I’m going for the fish and chicken (wich smells SOOOO good) check them out I promise you won’t regret it! I only paid 8$ for a double cheese burger fries and a can soda.

“The sandwiches are delicious. I had the amighetti special. The meats are fresh and plentiful. The bun is warm and freshly made, too. All the ingredients and special sauce makes this a great tasting sandwich. I had it toasted. Ummm ummh!!“

“I just wanted to point out a bright spot in the service industry, Sharonda at the St. Ann location. She has such an amazing personality and very interactive with all the customers. “The food and service were just fine when I went for the first time. The meatball marinara sub I opted for was just filling enough, AND tasted great topped with tomato, lettuce, provolone cheese, onions, green peppers, banana peppers, and Southwest chipotle sauce on Italian herb and cheese bread, slightly toasted. The cheese was just melted enough to give it a real pizza like texture and taste. Another favorite submarine sandwich I really like here is the Spicy Italian. Either way, they're always topped with plenty of meat and cheese! The chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies are really tasty. A foot long sub combo is more than enough for me to eat in one meal so I save half my sandwich for a snack later in the day. And the employees always seem friendly and do a great job making my sandwiches.

“This was my 1st visit there. I've had the food before because of my co-workers bringing some to work.
Customer service was excellent from the time we entered until we left.
We dined in. The food came to us fast, fresh and really good. I had the BLT-A and the Chicken Torilla Soup. Everything was great. It was so good that I ordered some through door dash a few days later.“

“I have been here twice since it opened a week ago. The food was great and the workers were very friendly and knew what they were doing.

Just some caution: the lobby (as of this review) closes at 7 but they still accept to-go orders until 9. If it is locked just call (until they get a buzzer on the pick up window.... oh and that reminds me, the pick up window is a nice touch).

But 100% would recommend. Great sandwiches for the price. And also great, friendly employees who seem to care about doing a great job.“
