“10 Stars!! 8/14/25 and well worth the short drive from Springfield!! The restaurant was extremely clean, comfortable, and the people there are so very nice and welcoming! We had General and Cashew Chicken (we had heard it was good), the sauce was the perfect consistency, and the egg roll and crab Rangoon were fantastic! Nothing negative whatsoever! I’ve been eating this kind of food since the mid 70’s, and I honestly think it’s the best I’ve ever had!!“

“We loved everything we got! They were so kind and gave me a side of kimchi to try for free and it was so delicious. Crunchy, a tiny bit spicy and tangy. The sweet and sour chicken and rice was phenomenal. Egg drop soup even impressed my husband who usually hates it. Crab rangoon and egg rolls were so good fresh. “Not all of their food is great, but their low mein noodles, fried rice and their appetizers are absolutely amazing. I've tried their other items, but honestly they're not really anything to hype up about. With how large their menu is, there's not a whole lot of options. I usually get my chicken or main entreys somewhere else and swing in here for the sides, because let's face it, this place has the best noodles and fried rice.“

Everyone is where they are supposed to be doing their jobs, so there is no complaint from me, hope the rest of the night slows down for you guys. “Had the General TSO chicken. Perfectly balanced heat. The breading was a kind of crispy that this chef is going to try and figure out. Did the reheat challenge to see if the breading would hold up. It did.
Now I've got to try more off the menu.“

“I haven't been to a Panda Express since my late wife and I were regulars back in L.A. before moving to Missouri in 2021. I kinda missed it and while in Springfield on business, I looked for a location close to the freeway. As I did when she was alive, I ordered the Family meal size and was in culinary heaven when I got home an hour and a half later. It was just as consistent as the L.A. locations. Once my plans of moving to Springfield happen, I'll be stopping here again.“

“We love Asian King Buffet - we frequent the buffet scene in Springfield and this place is definitely in our top 5.

Service is outstanding. We typically get the same woman and she is so kind, always on it. Takes dirty dishes away quickly and checks in on our needs 2-4 times during the meal.

We love coming on Friday nights for Crab — you really can’t beat it price wise. Personally we feel the butter has a somewhat burnt taste at times.“

“I grew up around the corner from this place and still try to come here every time I’m back in town. I’ve probably tried 75% of the other Chinese food in the area (Springfield, Ozark, etc.) and it doesn’t touch this place. In my mind it’s Cashew Inn and Yen Ching and then a steep fall off where everyone else lands. I will die on this hill. My wife grew up in a Triple 8’s family and has whole heartedly converted to Cashew Inn.

Give this place a try and enjoy well seasoned, fully cooked food for a good price. I have very few strong opinions, but Cashew Inn is one of them!“

“I believe ones preference for the taste of Chinese food is very individual and each chef prepares it just as differently as the next. I personally like the food prepared here. My taste buds like the flavors. The portions are large. I don't mind the service or the occasional wait time in the drive-thru. I've never been inside so I have no idea about the atmosphere. I give them repeat business! :)“

“We had to sit in the back. I was kinda tight back there. Tables were really close, but it was a weekend and very busy. Food was excellent, service was excellent. We will be going back tomorrow. It's a Tuesday. Maybe not so busy. We travel just to go. It's about an hour from where we live.“
