“At 2:40 the lady at the bar comes yelling it's 3 time to go I look at my phone and asked if we could finish this pool game she literally got in my face yelling bar time is different from your time. Within minutes I was being snatched up and thrown out the bar. I called the cops at 2:43 for the assault I just received cops said they looked at the camera and I was trespassing I asked for my report they said I was in the wrong and I'm the one who called them not thirsty all because I tussled back with the bouncer because everything was in there my purse my pool stick and phone. “First time there was for my daughter's 21st birthday and it was awesome. The place is a little small but the service and the people were inviting. Reminded me of a backyard family BBQ reunion. The servers were incredible. I would definitely recommend this place!!“

“Authentic decor...right down to the kerosene lanterns on the tables. Why? Because there are no lights in that dining room. It reminded me of a pub I visited in the UK.

For starters, we tried their Egg Rolls; which are stuffed with corned beef and coleslaw. Scotch Eggs...my first time ever trying them. Very good. Fried pickles...I mean; why not? Also, very good.

Our entrees were chicken-fried-chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Very tender and juicy. I got traditional fish n chips. Cod fillets tender and crunchy. Put some malt vinegar on it all and it will take you to the top.

Dessert consisted of a slice of their carrot cake. A must have after a good meal like that.“

But the televisions were muted and on closed captioning, the background music was kept audible but not blasting like most places, and customers could actually carry on conversations! “We just got married this past weekend and not only was Crancer's great to deal with but the venue is beautiful. Everything from the planning to the service was absolutely amazing and Kat was the easiest person to deal with and was SUPER flexible and accommodating. We looked at multiple venues in Kansas City but they were all more expensive and you had a shorter time frame to get things done. We had the venue all weekend long for a no stress set up and clean up. I cannot stress enough how easy Kat made everything. I was hesitant because its a local place and I thought it would be less than something bigger in the city. I couldn't have been more wrong!“

“My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“

“What a great place especially if you like sports. Went to check out a wedding venue and found this place afterwards. Had a little wait as it gets pretty busy. Waitress was great. We tried some appetizers and they were all yummy. I liked the wings and kegs the best. My Roast Beef plate was so good. Pile it on Garlic toast .. The mash potatoes and brown gravy and green beans were so good. Everyone loved what they got.. Can't wait to return.“

“I had a great experience at The Leagues today. The waitress was lovely and provided great service. The waitress and another worker repeatedly came by and checked to see how i was enjoying the food and whether i needed anything else.

The fajita quesadilla was delicious and a good portion.

“The staff was wonderful! Very convenient to not have to leave the hotel after a long drive to get food, however the margarita in the margarita pizza must’ve been in the other room. Definitely was just a cheese pizza with a few tomatoes on it, no basil!“
