“My daughter for her birthday every year has to go to El Puerto in Pleasant Hill! I don’t blame her one bit! This place is fantastic, great service, yummy food, and awesome drinks! You won’t regret it!”

“My girlfriend and I eat at xolos as out date night restaurant. unfortunately we can no longer trust their food. or order was a family margarita (for my birthday) the xolo burrito (only had red sauce no white sauce), and papa's con polo. she ate the papa's con polo, after saying to was not as good at it typically is, she finished it, and had one cup of the margarita. her food must have been under cooked, because she has been throwing up all night and still is this morning. we believe she now has food poisoning, and we no longer trust them to provide us a safe to eat meal. If it doesn't look right dont risk it. we wont anymore.”

“They aight. There are a couple pool tables there. They have free pool on Sundays. There is an enclosed outdoor seating area. I personally actually kind of like the atmosphere at this bar.”

“The soda dispenser wasn't working in the lobby on the day I was there but they were serving drinks from behind the counter. Took longer than normal to get my food and I had to go get it even though it asked for my table number when I placed the order and it was on the ticket.”

“Had a really good experience here after living in a bigger city and basically refused to go to any subway. Bread was fresh and sandwich was well put together. Definitely enough to give it another shot.”

“James at the window was awesome. The P Hill Taco Bell has improved in the last 6 months due to the employees. Very pleasant. I did drive-through twice in last few months and definitely notice a difference.”

“Visited this restaurant on Monday. I’d never heard of Costa Vida. We were visiting in the area & went here with my sister & bil. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the food was. Sweet pork, on my!!!! The staff was extremely pleasant & helpful. Very clean. We will be back when in the area.”

“I have to say 100 out of 10 starts!!!!! A friend asked me if ive ever been, said never heard of this place. Well i ordered the 3 meat 3 side platter, got the burnt ends, brisket and ribs with beans, slaw and jazzy fries. Only thing I didnt really like was the slaw but everything else hands down was AMAZING!!!! The burnt ends just melt in your mouth, that jazzy sauce is addictive and they have a really good honey mustard as well. Also got the friend mushrooms, they use portobello mushrooms and they are a 10 out of 10 with the in house made ranch...... I will be going back, and it has me wanting this place over Jack stack and I grew up on Jack stack.”

I go here regularly and the atmosphere is always so inviting and Nina is such a unique, genuine and kind soul. You will not find service like hers anywhere else. Not only do I love this place but so do my children. Will forever be stopping by for all things baked by Nina! 💕”

The complimentary cinnamon roll is old school cafeteria style that you can order to go by the dozen. There’s a reason this place remains the staple in downtown LS! Enjoy!”

“6 college friends from the 60s had a nice lunch at this tea room. Our waitress Keara (sp), was excellent, and so were the desserts she offered us. Keara looked lovely in her strawberry dress!”
