“Went to Barbacoa, 5500 Troost, for brunch Sunday morning, what a delightful experience. I ordered Monie’s plate. It was mouthwatering. The serving was so generous, that I took half of it home. The corn tortillas were soft and warm enough to make a taco, the beans were flavorful and not spicy, the carnitas were fall apart tender and very tasty, perfectly fried potatoes, and fluffy scrambled eggs. The salsa was very tasty and not overly spicy. The coffee was even tasty (Costco Kirkland medium roast). Unlike some breakfast restaurants, the background music was so low and mellow (helps with digestion), I could hear my friends talk. We have to go back during the week for dinner. UPDATE - I forgot one very important thing, the service was excellent. Our group was one of two in the restaurant, but shortly afterwards other start to arrive. There was only one friendly waitress, who, despite the growing crowd, was able to get back to us about more coffee and to check on us“

“Step right up to The Fridge, where the beer flows like confetti and the décor whispers sweet absurdities from a carnival you can’t quite place. Welcome to the beer bar where the taps are cold, tasty, and genuinely inventive - I had their pineapple beer which tasted like a day of frolicking in the sand on the beach of Hawaii. The karaoke was blissfully off-key as the bar turned into a sing-along sanctuary, and strangers become drinking buddies by round two.“

“Was really good! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Came in during Sunday happy hour after 4 and was told all cocktails are $2 off, however got charged full price for one of hours. Bartender was too busy to ask about it after we got the itemized receipt. Overall, delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the full special.“

“This is one of my favorite bars in Kansas City to take new people or people that dont go out on the town very often. it's really easy to socialize with strangers and it doesn't take very long to get a drink from the bar even if it is busy.“

“The strong smell of liquid smoke made me wonder how it was cooked. The brisket was dry, when I added the sauce the sandwich was enjoyable. Will order again. Delivery was quick.“
“This brewery is a hidden gem in North Kansas City! The Big Rip Brewing Company has a fantastic selection of craft beers, and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We love the atmosphere and the fact that we can bring our own food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“

“Awesome business concept! The bike shop alone is exceptional with knowledge always on duty. While having several different complete models for sale in both traditional and electric setups, the storefront also sports a huge selection of quality gear, parts and accessories. In the same space, there is a gathering area with taps and delicious pizza available for purchase. Velo is a convenient place to stop by while out cycling.
Support local business! Highly recommend!“

They also have special offers for educators, law enforcement, and medical staff.
Their salad bar is the best in town.“

“We stopped there for a little Happy Hour before a night at The Kaufman Center. We had never been there before since it is not really close to where we live. That being said, next time we head down to the Symphony, we will probably stop by. 🙂“

“WOW, Just had Summit Pizza for the first time as we were searching somewhere close with Cauliflower Crust. Good Golly miss Molly, this pizza was excellent. With our favorite toppings available also. And in the counter were some delicious looking desserts. Maybe next time. Summit Pizza will be our go too!“

“Excellent service!! Of all the Old Chicago’s in and around the KC/Liberty area this one’s the best. Some of the best salads I’ve had. Also the chicken tenders are mouth watering! Don’t miss it“

“One of the few places that could accommodate 10 on same-day reservation. Fairly priced (barbecue is always priced a bit touristy...). Solid portions of local barbecue; FYI a full rack is probably too many ribs. Easy space, and hard to beat within walking distance.“
“This place is electric! Great Dj and great atmosphere! Love this spot in P&L!“

“We were seated on the top floor, a very interesting mix of new decor, artwork and very old, exposed rafters and beams nicely showing the age and history of the building. We were greeted almost immediately upon arriving and seated shortly after. Our waiter was a very friendly and courteous young man. The service was very good, the atmosphere was very quiet so my wife and I could converse without struggling to overcome background noise. The drinks were very good and a nice wine selection. I had an excellent filet and my wife had an excellent pot roast, topped off by a very tasty apple crumb cake dessert. Our meal came to about $100 each which, overall, we thought was very reasonable for the overall quality of the dining experience. Ample (paid) parking right next door. This was our first time dining at Anton's but we will definitely be back.“

“It was ok. Quality and taste has went down over the last couple years. Salsa tastes like weak, watery spaghetti sauce. Chips were cold used to be served warm. No real flavor to the food any more. Have given them SEVERAL different chances, it has increasingly gotten worse, not sure that my family will return when there are so many other Mexican Restaurants nearby that we have actually enjoyed. It really is too bad because the staff is always great but we go there for the food and it has been sub par.“
