“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is all blues and the history of blues. The food is that of a St. Louis Deli, with some New Orleans added for those who want to live a little extra! I had a Muffulatta it was a single serving and that was plenty enough! They also several it in half or whole sizes. That should feed a family. My friend had the Creole Deluxe PoBoy. That was also delicious! I highly recommend this deli!“

“I just went to the fountain for the first time yesterday evening. I will definitely be back! If I lived in Stlouis I would go there often but unfortunately I live 2 hours away. I dined there with my sister and two of my nieces. Everything we ordered was so good! The cocktails are very good, especially the Love Potion #9 ice cream martini! We loved the dill pickle potato soup! A must try if you love dill pickles, you gotta try it! The hot roast beef sandwich, buffalo chicken dip, salads and sundae we had were all delicious! “This is the best dining experience my partner and I ever had. The food was excellent, really amazing. Every dish was a classic that was elevated by incredible, fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The flavors, textures and balance were perfect.

Every person we interacted with was genuine and warm. They were relaxed and precise. You could tell the staff are top tier professionals that love their job, love making people feel welcome, and love the restaurant.

It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors! “I have had a lot of food from Loafers over the past few years but never had enough information to write a review! They serve a more cafe-style menu during lunch, offering amazing soups, sandwiches and salads. I have eaten lunch at Loafers many times and loved every experience. During dinner service, they serve their amazing pizzas, which I only got to experience for the first time recently. We went with another couple and ended up getting their spinach pizza and their seasonal pizza, which had far too many elements to name. Both pizzas were amazing. The service was great, though they did seem to want to turn the table quickly, understandably, as they are quite busy constantly. Highly recommend this space, as it is not unreasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive.“

OMG adding the tofu nuggets was the best decision, this sushi wrap tasted amazing! First off, let’s talk about that chicken—hands down, the softest, most moist chicken breast I’ve ever had in my life. Like, I had a moment. It was that good. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth tender—I almost forgot it was poultry and not a warm hug in meat form. The shiitake mushrooms on the side were also on point. Rich, savory, and full of that earthy goodness that made me feel like I was leveling up my taste buds in real time. Then we got hit with dessert. Floating Island. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I got was pure magic—a fluffy cloud of sweetness with crème anglaise that made my eyes roll back like I just hit a flavor jackpot. And to top it all off—they surprised us with a free dessert when they found out it was our anniversary. That little gesture made the whole night even more special (and delicious). I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well.
