“Best Pickle Spears at the lake! It is well known Jolly Rogers has the best breakfast buffet but tonight I have to give a 5 star rating for the amazing pickle spears and food. Never dissappoints!“

Chef Corey was amazing to talk to and the only one that knew the ingrediants/flavors/spices to my favorite steaks in the world, a Florentine Steak! I knew at that instance I was going to give this place a try. Talking to Ted ,the owner of Baxters ,about my bad experience at the restaurant next door,(JBH) and them charging us over a $120 for one plate( price was not concerning, but them hiding it until we ate the worst food in our fine dining experience was!) that included frozen lobster that could not be eaten all the way due to it being so tough from being frozen too long and not getting silverware for over 20 minutes after the dinner was served, he gave us confidence in his restaurant by personally inviting us with an open reservation of our timing and at any spontanious moment and showing me the kitchen which could not be exceeded in cleanliness or matched in appearance and professionalism. My business in serving commercial kitchens gives me the insight into many restaurants and this experience guarentees our return. Total recommendation in all they provide. Oh and lets not forget the service, top notch, there was not an empty glass or dirty dish left on our table more then 5 seconds and the timing of our courses insured a complete experience with no time to wait! “I have had dinner here few times this summer. The food is always good. If they would serve bread, it would be a 5 star. He mussels are delicious, but you really need some bread to go with them. The only bread they have is cornbread that is an additional charge. I’ve never been to a restaurant with no bread available……?“

I can't begin to say what a true genuine kind hearted person Chris is he definitely makes you feel comfortable with his hospitality and smile not to mention his accent.The entire staff seems to really enjoy aiming to please there customer's like Ralph &Tammy in the restaurant/Bar they do a amazing job as well really enjoyed getting to know them both when they had a moment to talk!! “We had breakfast here at the buffet, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The entire spread was impressive, offering a fresh and well-curated selection of dishes to choose from. While everything tasted good, the absolute highlight of the meal was definitely their yogurt bowl it was refreshing, beautifully prepared, and the perfect way to start the day.
Aside from the delicious food, the dining environment itself was incredibly comfortable. Despite the summer heat, the restaurant remained perfectly pleasant thanks to a series of uniquely oriented ceiling fans that kept a refreshing, cool breeze circulating over our table.

“I recommend the fried green beans and burgers (I've had the Dam Burger, and the Hangover burger.) It's not too pricey for the portions, and the sauce cups are filled pretty full. The burgers are a little dry, but they have a nice crisp and even texture on the outside of them. The flavor of the burgers are good as well, and I recommend adding boom boom sauce on them (if you like something spicy.)“

“Was there last night for a special event. Very nice place, well designed with a large fire pit by the stage. Lot's of room for dancing during concerts. Will try out the happy hour and the weekend breakfast. I heard they have the best chicken tenders. Will see.“

“Well we went to another restaurant near Casablanca-we had our dog and was told they no longer accept pets. So as we were leaving someone eating there told us to go to Casablanca they have great pizza and you can take your dog. Well the restaurant that refused us did us the biggest favor. Casablanca has the BEST margarita, pizza bruschetta and chicken wings. And the service was superior-Chad thank you so much, we will definitely be back.“

“We stopped at Steak'n'Shake today. We love the fact it's fast and fresh. Today a school bus full of kids come in. At least 25 kids came in to eat. Doris, Sue and McKenzie we working. They bust their butt's waiting on everyone. We watched as the manager and assistant manager never once came out to help these poor girls. I worked retail for 30+ yrs and in my job the Management would be out helping where needed. They could have came out and cleared tables.“
