While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. “We went for my mom's birthday. Everyone enjoyed our food. Steaks were cooked perfectly to everyone's individual tastes (we vary from medium rare all the way to well done) and we really enjoyed the desserts. We got the chocolate cake and key lime pie. Our server Tate was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. I also enjoyed that the atmosphere wasn't super snooty or uptight. They were playing the Cardinals game at the bar, which was fun. “Not up to usual standards. Apparently due to lack of servers like many restaurants at this time. Over an hour to receive our salads. Our order was taken in the first 10 minutes, but was taken by another server about 45 minutes later. Food was acceptable, but not up to previous visits. I would continue to recommend this establishment. I would assume this was an exception. I did find it odd that the servers may no attempt to offer dessert or some other form of compensation. They both were clearly aware of the delay.“

“I frequently visit this restaurant, and I’ve genuinely never had a bad experience. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Today we had Jay, and she was very attentive and did a great job. Food was excellent and my steak was cooked a perfect medium well. I can always count on Longhorn to give me a perfect medium well, and I find that difficult most places. The 7 pepper seasoning is my favorite. All around another good experience.“
