“Fantastic breakfast! Chocolate sangria and Happy hot chocolate plus a made from scratch cinnamon roll and the Opa’s meat scramble. The pancake is not as sweet as you would think. The cinnamon roll is outstanding, made from scratch. It’s a cream cheese icing. And it has plenty of cinnamon on the inside. Their hot sauce has a really good kick to it, and it’s not overpowering. Goes great with the scrambled eggs and skillet crisps. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and history“

“It was SO nice finally eating a hot meal in Missouri after spending an entire week in Branson with no gluten-free options as someone with celiac disease.

Almost the entire menu is gluten-free and they have a dedicated fryer. Thank GOD.

My husband and I ordered:

- Fried Guacamole / Palta Fritas. $9.99 (Appetizer)
- Lomo Saltado. $18.99 (Main)
- Amazon Fried Rice. $15.99 (Main)
- Lúcuma Cheesecake. $10 (Dessert)
- Bottle of hot sauce to take home. $10

While the fried rice was a tad oversalted and I didn't like the Cheerio crust on the cheesecake, the food was so good and the salsa... Omg. I could have taken a case home of that stuff. It is hot but complex and flavorful. The salsa alone is worth another visit.

They have a menu with foods you might not see anywhere else in town such as deep fried rabbit with basil lime aioli, BBQ jackfruit with Peruvian panca peppers or blackened cobia on a bed of ahi amarillo mashed potatoes.

The restaurant is in an old building from the 1800's with tables, booths and even a dining room upstairs. The bathrooms are individual rooms with a sink and changing table, so they are unisex.

Service was great.

Overall, I would definitely return.

“My friends and I came here after going to another bar in town. We were after good drinks and some Christmas vibes. The staff here was incredible and the food and drinks were amazing! We got a vegan mushroom pizza and it's probably the best I've ever had. Skip the other places in town. This is the place.“

“Druff's is my favorite place in Springfield. We go almost every other Sunday after church. I recommend just about everything on the menu. I prefer a side of homemade tomato soup, but the other sides are delicious as well. I don't know how they do it, but the sandwiches are perfectly crispy and cheesy every single time.

My usual is the backwoods sandwich, but the the too cute is a great, non-sandwich, option.

They also have amazing cocktails for a Sunday fun day.

“We have found a new favorite haunt at Lindbergs Tavern on C Street. Firstly, David and Ace were absolutely the kindest, most beautiful example of people we've met in a very long time. Their customer service and attention to detail was absolutely stellar! Roomie had a triple patty smash burger and she definitely smashed it, it was HUGE!. My mouth was watering so much over my Queen City Dip I almost had to wear a bathing suit.😉 Absolutely the most delicious and tender prime rib sandwich in the universe. We dined outside under a divine evening sky with all staff & patrons being so friendly & chill. One young man even had a Corgi named Cheddar Biscuit that was everybody's buddy. Very nice selection of beers & cocktails to choose from. I believe the menu read Lindbergs was in a 130 year old setting to add to the laid back environment. It is my sincere wish that Lindbergs is around for another 130 years so they can continue spoiling their customers and making new friends. “I went for the first time today and got a amaretto/white chocolate latte and a street taco. The person working answered 100 questions for me and was super friendly. I asked her which meat to get, which sauce, etc. and the taco was AMAZING. The latte was good too. I will definitely go back.“

“I love love love Tinga Tacos! The only thing that I do wish is that they had the calories listed on the menu. I've started a strict calorie counting diet and I cant eat here because I would have no idea how many calories I'm consuming.“

“First time going to the Grotto and was not disappointed. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, tacos, and appetizers. When you walk in the menu board is on the left, you look over it, and then order and pay at the register. The only negative that I have is that they try to pressure you into providing a tip immediately by having the tip screen pop up before you can pay. The only service they provide is bringing you your order. You get your own drinks, silverware, condiments, napkins, and refills so I am not sure why they ask for a tip. Anyway, the food was great. My wife ordered the grilled chicken meal with two sides. She got the side salad and sweet potato fries. She loved everything about it. The chicken was moist, the fries crunchy, and salad wonderfully seasoned. I ordered the Swiss burger and fries. The fries were hot and crispy and the burger was delicious with the house made aioli sauce. The only issue was that the burger was a tad dry, but not enough to say it wasn't delicious. We also ordered the chips and caso appetizer which was really good with the caso having a nice kick to it. Would return to try something else.

It's not cheap, figure on about $15 per person, $20 with drinks.

But it's definitely worth it. No regrets.

“Absolutely the best Chinese food in town! We were there Christmas Eve and they were slammed but everyone was so nice, the tables were clean, and our to go order only took 15 minutes extra for our order. Our food was hot and delicious. The kimchi stew is AMAZING.They have customers for life! Thank you Wok on Scenic for an amazing Christmas Eve meal!“

When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and kindness even though we had three littles with us. They placed us in a corner table to make sure we had room for our kiddos. Upon being seated Rachel our waitress greeted us with a smile and kindness. We explained to her that we had dietary restrictions and she immediately went to the kitchen to verify what was safe for me. Rachel continued to be kind, compassionate and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience.
