Example, when you order a salad, it comes with not enough dressing & I’m one who does not require or want a lot or extra salad dressing on my salad. But they charge extra for each addition little cup of salad dressing. And after the party I was with left, I ordered takeout for my wife. They said they gave my order to someone in my party, which I know for a fact they did not. When I got home with the order I had to wait for more than twice as long for, they did not put the extra salad dressing I ordered & payed for in my bag. I know I should’ve checked but I trusted them & they failed.“

From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. “My Girlfriend and I have been here twice in a 5 month span, both times it was nice and quiet with not much foot traffic, Service was good as both servers were attentive and quick. Food had some good qualities First time had a burger and fries, second time Chicken and Steak taco. The burger was a normal burger that doesn't stand out thought they do give you a good portion of fries that are very good. The steak taco was very good, but the chicken was bland. Overall, we will be back. I do suggest bring cash as they charge a service fee and will discount it if you use cash.“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“I was host to approximately 30 to 35 professional people for an evening. The food was unbelievably delicious; and Taylor attended to us flawlessly. She never missed a beat and got it all right. The atmosphere was great in spite of it being a memorial service. There was a second table almost as large as ours, and there was plenty of room to spare. I had shopped around a few places; none of them seemed compatible for my needs. Mitch was the mgr., and he was great as well. He had asked several times how everything was. “Outdoor seating is along Manchester road but had sufficient barriers that you never notice. Server Heather was charming. Food seemed to take a while to arrive and the French fries weren't very hot. My Brettman burger was delicious, would definitely get it again. My husband got a Philly Beef with onion rings and thought they were good also. Servings of fries and onion rings were ample, those are some of my fries on his plate.“

Some places want to charge us for space for us to patronize their establishment, absolutely refuse that option. Anyway I called Bret up a month in advance and let him know we'd be coming. Well Thursday came around and I could tell by the group that had already shown up that it was gonna be a bigger group than what I told them. I went in and told that to Bret, no problem he said. What a great time we had, the drinks were coming, the food was hot and delicious with tons of choicesavailable. What a great experience we all had, which was conveyed to me in text messages after we left.

All right, this was a tricky review for me. First, I've been searching for the best burger in St. Louis, and let's be clear, this ain't it.
The second thing, I'm a firm believer against getting burgers from restaurants, but that doesn't mean this burger isn't damn good.
The waitress all but pleaded with me to not bite the burger while the cheese was sizzling. But did I listen? Nah.
As soon as that burger hit the plate in front of me, I picked it up, took the biggest bite I could muster. Then dipped some of the fries into the sizzling cheese.
O.M.P.'s burger.
Absolutely a plus.

“Drinks service here is great for such a crowded late bar. The karaoke nights could be better. I went with a group of people and put my name in the same time as my friends and they got atleast one song in and the KJ skipped me completely. I know she takes tips, but that shouldn't justify skipping a person completely. If I hot there early enough for my friends to sing then that person should've gotten there earlier himself.“
