“Sometimes you just have bad luck when you go out and sometimes it has nothing to do with the restaurant. This was one of those times. I say that to open as any further comments might be influenced by that more than I intend. The food was generally as good as expected, but there was a cilantro miss with my wife's food. To their great credit they remade it, but she still couldn't eat it, her guess was it was probably just still getting in there during the cooking with repeatedly used utensils, etc. My wife can hear a mouse sneeze a mile away and tell if I had cilantro 2 days ago when I come home, so most folks probably wouldn't have noticed. Again, to the restaurants credit, they simply took it off and we hadn't asked nor complained. The very attentive service staff just noticed and took care of it. It was a bit noisier than I prefer, but here especially I might be colored by the aggravation with the table behind us. The birthday boy who kept bouncing and banging into the seat was easier to overlook than the grandmother whose cackle was on repeat was harder to omit. It was one of those fake over done ones that was ear piercing after 45 minutes. These things happen at peak times. I hope you have better luck as the food really is enjoyable and the staff was impeccable, just watch out for that cilantro.“

“My family and I was in St Charles for the Metallica concert, stopped at your Restaurant for Lunch. That was one of the best pizza's we have ever had. Ingredients and Crust was on point. I know your local in Mo but please bring one to the Gulf Shores area of Alabama. I promise you would stay busy.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. There are better breakfast places out there. That said, FW is a solid participant in the sit-down breakfast/brunch market and does make pretty consistent food across all of their locations that I've visited with this one being no exception.

Had breakfast with the kid the other day. She ordered the Eggs Benedict which showed up on ciabatta instead of English muffins. I had the fruit crepes with yogurt and granola which are no longer on the menu but can be whipped-up if you ask nicely. I asked nicely as I appreciate the illusion of eating healthily.

For some reason, the food auction followed by the drop & run has become incredibly popular in restaurants like FW these days. Personally, I would prefer that my server deliver our food and pause for a minute to see if there's anything missing or if we have any requests.“

“I have been coming to Neon Banana since it’s opening in 2022 after accidentally stumbling upon it. I am quite particular about my smoothies and there aren’t many smoothie places in Saint louis that I’ve had with high quality ingredients that actually taste good without all that extra sugar and syrup. When the “I love juice bar” when out of business, this shop became my go to. No matter what time of year- summer or winter, I’ll come to get a smoothie. I love the strong arm smoothie for a quick protein boost, or the neon banana smoothie is super refreshing and delicious (my fav)!!! When I’m sick- the wellness shots and juices are a godsent. I have purchased their bone broths as well which are also good. I have yet to try their juice cleanses. Thanks team @ Neon Banana for the good vibes and delicious foods.“

The best thing I could’ve done, the rice crispy was soooo good… I ordered again on 9/8/25 and again the food was good.. but idk who made them rice crispy on 9/8/25 they don’t need to make them no more! “I frequently dine out at places like Pei Wei but Pei Wei has become my new favorite. That is due in no small part to Jacinta, one of the employees. They were having a bit of a mid afternoon rush and she was acting as the cashier, server, bus person and just about everything else associated with front of house in a restaurant. She really hustled and took care of everyone efficiently and with a smile. Honestly if I wasn’t retired and was still in business I would try to steal her away. I’ve eaten at Pei Wei for lunch the last three days and I don’t see that trend stopping anytime soon.“
