I was very upset with that because a couple weeks prior I ordered a half order of fried rice and it pretty much came in the same plastic container. The combination of textures and flavors was a real treat, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The pretzel roll on the side was warm and perfectly chewy. “I just had the best customer service experience at Sassafras thanks to the manager, Tiffany Prince. She went above and beyond for me even though she was off duty and clearly on her way home. I asked another employee about the salad I ordered because I have been having some digestive issues and the salad ended up having some items that I couldn’t eat. I wasn’t even looking for any accommodations, I just wanted to know how I could order to avoid my mistake in the future. Tiffany overheard our conversation and was so kind! She went back into the kitchen and made me a brand new salad! Thanks to her kindness and excellent customer service I was able to enjoy my full meal without any pain. I will definitely be back to eat here again with my family.“

“Bread bowls lately are a disappointment, no matter which soup I try in it. Bread is tasteless and kind of wrinkles up. I don't know how to explain it. This has always been my favorite thing to get there, even in the summer but the ladt 4 times, the bread was a disappointment.“

“I have been coming to Joy Luck for many many years. In all the times I have patroned this restaurant, it has NEVER disappointed. The atmosphere is classy yet comfortable with the perfect amount of lighting and an aroma of freshly made cuisine that gets your mouth watering as soon as you enter. As for the food; I have occasionally ordered an entrée, which was absolutely perfectly prepared, but I mostly order the buffet. The buffet is quite possibly the best in St. Louis. It continuously has the freshest selections from their salad items all the way to their hot foods. No matter the time or day, I walk out, not only impressed, but left wishing I had not gotten that last plate. It is absolutely delicious. The staff who see you are taken care of are attentive and eager to assist you in any way they can. I never thirst for a refill, that's for sure!! Overall, Joy Luck is by far one of the best restaurants in St. Louis I have ever experienced, and I look forward to my next visit.“

“My daughter and I ate here after having a long day of driving and a flat tire. While our tire was getting fixed we decided to eat at this Panera in St. Joseph’s. While I was inside ordering a lady named Alofa saw my daughter outside with her dog. Alofa went out of her way to say say Hi” to my daughter and was so kind to her, and even gave her dog some water. It really brightened our spirits after such a hard day!
