“It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!

“Great pinball bar!! The selection of pinball games is excellent. Bartender was a little to boisterous, but still nice. We went on a Saturday night, it was dead... let me tell you why. Karaoke, and it was HORRIBLE. Not that having karaoke is horrible, it's the few people that were there that couldn't sing. You could tell it was a few regulars and that's what is keeping more people from coming. We left because it was so bad. Will definitely be back though when no karaoke is going on“

I got on Tuesdays nights which is bingo Wednesday are darts my mom calls for bingo and helps with darts so needless to say I k own this bar. “Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“

“I’ve been here twice. First time was for my bachelorette party. This boat was perfect! We were put up in the karaoke room right away and our server came up frequently to make sure we had enough drinks and everything was good. It was the perfect night! Then we went again yesterday for my birthday. The drinks were fantastic and there was plenty to keep us entertained while waiting for our turn in the karaoke room. The only flaw in the night was fixed right away by the amazing security staff and the manager! I would only suggest a better system for the karaoke waitlist. We were called for our room and went up only to be told by the waitress (who did not check the waitlist) that someone else had the room and even though they booked after us we needed to leave. I wish I had gotten the names of the security staff and manger because when we brought this issue to them they resolved it right away and we were able to enjoy some karaoke to end the night. Thank you to all the security staff and the manager (those 5 stars for you) for helping end our night on a good note! I will alway recommend this place to people and will gladly go here for any birthday in the future! ❤️ Also we did not eat here but we saw Nachos coming out that looked absolutely 🔥 and if the kitchen had still been open we would have ordered some!“

“Shoutout to my friends for taking me to fancy places. I’m not a member of the cigar bar in the Ritz Carlton in St. Louis, but I have a friend who is and wow, what a vibe. If you get the chance to check it out, absolutely do. The shrimp cocktail and octopus? Fantastic. And yes, we got the flatbread too — a little guilty pleasure moment. THEY ARE WILLING TO NOW SPEAK AFTER TONIGHT!I reported her issues in 2022 and it hasn’t changed. i come here to relax and listen to the available music. Meg tells me a black woman, Beyonce, if played multiple times will make her upset and she will project that to customers. She never has asked anyone else this EVVER! In discussing further of no tip, she advised me not to come back in if I’m not playing the music that makes HER happy if not expecting for it to be turned off or for anger to go to other patrons which made me feel discriminated and responsible for others bad times. In drinking my drink in an almost empty bar, NOW, I’m taking seats up and mich as before amassing people around her to bully. This isn’t right and MEG SHOULD BE FIRED but at the very least a case is coming as she informed me her and the owner talk often and hertreatment is of the bar. As Meg stated if I want different treatment don’t come on her shift vs trying to make things right. My biggest fear is retaliation for speaking out CONTINUALLY on the same issue and we are still here and I AM BANNNED. So another reason this is public bc of the fear she put in me that her and the owner are so close that my claims will mean nothing!“

“This is an awesome bar! If you hate cigarette smoke, it is not for you. You walk in, and you're automatically taken back in time to the good days. This place has great food, good prices, and great service! They have a homemade ranch that is amazing!!“

“I love the Fireplace. It's basically a neighborhood type dive bar. Very friendly people, good drinks and small food offering. They have a pool table, game machines and the best karaoke on Fri and Sat nights.

They have recently had a bit of a facelift and the place looks great. They have also elevated their drinks with holiday special menus. I love the fall caramel apple martini! DELICIOUS! They also make a great white russian for a reasonable price. I've had the smore's dessert which is a cool experience and the pizza which is consistent and good. Service is quick and friendly and sometimes they even have a employee offering food samples.

I really enjoy that the karaoke crowd is kind and there to have a good time. They are friendly and will sing with you and cheer you on. The guy who runs karaoke is polite and does his best with your songs and rotating the list of singers.

They also have the cleanest restrooms I have ever experienced in a bar! This is not the kind of bar you go to and avoid using the restrooms, its one where you feel comfortable and they always have soap and towels for handwashing!

The only downside is that their parking lot is tiny and once its full, you are basically out of luck. There isn't any overflow parking, so I do recommend carpooling if you can.

“I never even knew this place was here, 15 minutes from where i live. It is cozy with a cool atmosphere for music. It almost reminded me of a small pageant. Its in a historic building. The inside has a nice feel with exposed brick, wood, beams, and wiring but tastefully decorated. Nice bar is there. they DO NOT SERVE FOOD, but they allow patrons to bring in takeout. Im so glad I discovered it. I will be back.“

“This was very very busy place. The food was very good. I ordered a vodka cran in a short glass- very pricey. Rail vodka shot $6, separate charge for the cranberry, $.50. some places do it that way. “I did not eat there. I went for a wonderful Christmas market that had a big screen and Christmas cartoons playing for the kids as well as a large bubble machine. I bought all my holiday gifts , every booth was more creative and unique than the rest and the nicest vendors. I even met one vendor in a central location that evening because I had no cash left and she met me with her husband after I could go to the bank“

Each evening Jennie K was our bartender and needless to say she’s AMAZING! Her drink knowledge and bubbly personality is a quality trait hard to find these days. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality. They saw me struggling and came to my rescue. Shoutout to Kenna for helping me. She not only offered a solution, but she sat on the floor and took 10 minutes to fix my shoe herself. All of the staff are so amazing and kind.
