“We came in for a Father's Day gift. Met up with Stephen at the Bourbon and Brews festival hosted by the STL Bourbon Society and was interrsted in the bourbon tasting experience.

We came in on a Sunday and got to experience something so many bourbon enthusiasts rarely get to: tasting and then trying to blend your favorites together.

The first 1hr or so was spent sampling 20 different bourbons, wheats, ryes, and single malt /Barley. The staff was attentive and awesome to interact with. As we tasted our way through the bourbons we ordered the chacuturrie (sp?) Board. The meats and cheese came from a local store and all from MO, and were delicious. Personal favs were the jalepeno & honey cheddar and the cajun sausage.

The last 2 hrs was spent with Stephen and Zach, trying to get our blends to match what we wanted. A lot of trial and error but their knowledge on which whiskey inparted which flavor/heat/abv was impressive. 1st blend too earthy? Zach knew which bourbon was the culprit and how to adjust, and kept at it to get you the blend you wanted.

The end of this 5hr experience (we're on the slow side and took our time) was a bottle that was unique, an experience that left us thinking of when we could come back, and as a bourbon fan; a better understanding of how challenging it is to create a great blend.

For the price of $140/person we had a personalized tasting, a custom bottle ( we picked the name of our bottle), this is an experience everyone should try; especially if you're diving into the bourbon scene.

“I absolutely LOVE the Orange Dreamsicle at Narwhals! It's my favorite guilty pleasure. If you remember orange pushpops - this drink will bring you right back to your childhood. I have tried several other favors and they are all delicious but the orange dreamsicle is the best.

I get Narwhals frequently and I have even had them cater an event. Having the drink machines at our family reunion was a huge hit. They made the experience so pleasant and easy - I highly recommend adding their service to your next event.

I go out of my way to get Narwhals and love it everytime. The employees are always so friendly and helpful with trying new flavors. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't.

And our kids love their smoothies. They have great non-alcholic options as well.“

“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. “Go to this bar. Bike parking right up front, every band I've seen so far are all very good, I immediately made friends with everyone there, I became family in 3 visits. Everyone watches out for everyone, no fights, drinks are very reasonable, there's good parking around back. The bar owner Judy commands respect and everyone loves her. “Great pinball bar!! The selection of pinball games is excellent. Bartender was a little to boisterous, but still nice. We went on a Saturday night, it was dead... let me tell you why. Karaoke, and it was HORRIBLE. Not that having karaoke is horrible, it's the few people that were there that couldn't sing. You could tell it was a few regulars and that's what is keeping more people from coming. We left because it was so bad. Will definitely be back though when no karaoke is going on“

“Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“

“I’ve been here twice. First time was for my bachelorette party. This boat was perfect! We were put up in the karaoke room right away and our server came up frequently to make sure we had enough drinks and everything was good. It was the perfect night! Then we went again yesterday for my birthday. The drinks were fantastic and there was plenty to keep us entertained while waiting for our turn in the karaoke room. The only flaw in the night was fixed right away by the amazing security staff and the manager! I would only suggest a better system for the karaoke waitlist. We were called for our room and went up only to be told by the waitress (who did not check the waitlist) that someone else had the room and even though they booked after us we needed to leave. I wish I had gotten the names of the security staff and manger because when we brought this issue to them they resolved it right away and we were able to enjoy some karaoke to end the night. Thank you to all the security staff and the manager (those 5 stars for you) for helping end our night on a good note! I will alway recommend this place to people and will gladly go here for any birthday in the future! ❤️ Also we did not eat here but we saw Nachos coming out that looked absolutely 🔥 and if the kitchen had still been open we would have ordered some!“

“I LOOOOVEEE THE STAFFF , with the exception of MEG from my experience is racist x100! I sat here today and my other black friend had to go to the owner about their owner than explaining the issue, bc he know like I, it’s start a mental race issue WITH MEG AS ALWAYS AND KNOW.N BY MANY BLACK PATRON! THEY ARE WILLING TO NOW SPEAK AFTER TONIGHT!I reported her issues in 2022 and it hasn’t changed. i come here to relax and listen to the available music. Meg tells me a black woman, Beyonce, if played multiple times will make her upset and she will project that to customers. She never has asked anyone else this EVVER! In discussing further of no tip, she advised me not to come back in if I’m not playing the music that makes HER happy if not expecting for it to be turned off or for anger to go to other patrons which made me feel discriminated and responsible for others bad times. In drinking my drink in an almost empty bar, NOW, I’m taking seats up and mich as before amassing people around her to bully. This isn’t right and MEG SHOULD BE FIRED but at the very least a case is coming as she informed me her and the owner talk often and hertreatment is of the bar. As Meg stated if I want different treatment don’t come on her shift vs trying to make things right. My biggest fear is retaliation for speaking out CONTINUALLY on the same issue and we are still here and I AM BANNNED. So another reason this is public bc of the fear she put in me that her and the owner are so close that my claims will mean nothing!“

The exterior is pretty impressive walking up to it.

“Went to the Ritz last night for their New Years Celebration. My shoe strap broke when walking in and I didn’t know what to do. But the staff there saved the day. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality. They saw me struggling and came to my rescue. Shoutout to Kenna for helping me. “This place was nice to listen to music outdoors on a nice evening. The food trucks were really good. The atmosphere was nice but there were a lot of kids running around somewhat unsupervised. Not sure if that is the case every event or not but just be aware. You can bring your own lawn chairs or blanket. They also have a large screen TV outdoors to watch sports while listening to good music.“

“I attended a birthday party with about 20 people. Our server did a great job considering we were all scattered around. The food I got was good, I had the traditional wings and a order of fries. Both were hot, although I was disappointed the fries were the coated fries that became popular during COVID. The fries were crispy and seasoned. There were plenty of pool tables and dart boards. The interior was a bit dated and could use some updates especially the mens bathroom. All and all the food was good and the drinks were cold.“

No complaints. You're allowed to get food from next door & bring it in. As far as the drinks, I knew what I ordered was not what it is was🤔 a shot of 1800 silver is smooth & strong. This wasn't that. So I was disappointed. But overall, I would go again! They are some really nice ppl and a good time was had!!“
