“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

Coffee is pretty consistent (similar to the other locations) with seasonal drinks and house-made syrups.

I believe the food options are the same as well although I didn't try any at this location.

The way they perfectly blend simple flavors, both in their food and their latte flavors, is nothing short of magical. Today I had the almond croissant and it is the perfect combination of buttery, nutty, flaky, and decadent; I got my 12 year old the pumpkin snickerdoodle and he actually said “mmm so soft and crispy with just the right amount of cinnamon.” Oh and the autumn flight was everything I hoped it would be! “First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “Really great vibe to this place as a soccer fan! We got the recommendation to come here to watch the Europa league final (which Manchester United sadly lost to Spurs) and we were pleasantly surprised to find the vibe to be exactly what we were looking for. The owners were really friendly and we chatted a lot on soccer, Man United etc. Their TVs have access to watch soccer all around Europe which is great. We ordered drinks and food too which was excellent, plus it was extremely reasonably priced. Definitely would go there again especially when there is a big game.“

“I've been to several Kaldi's locations around the area, and this is one of my favorites. Right in downtown Kirkwood near the shops and train. Each Kaldi's has its own unique food, and the avocado toast and breakfast burrito here were both excellent.“

“Upshot Coffee at Waypoint Church is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing—perfect for getting work done, meeting up with friends, or just taking a breather. The service is always excellent, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good too, but the real standout is the coffee. It’s always on point!

My go-to order is the vanilla iced almond milk latte, and they nail it every time. If you’re looking for a new spot to try, this one definitely deserves a visit.

“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. All told: I’d go back. Comfortable spot, good coffee, minimal drama. Just maybe don’t expect the coffee gods to deliver your order via lightning bolt.“
