“I think this may be my new favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The ambience alone is absolutely beautiful, but combine that with amazing food and impeccable service and you have a winner. Best oysters I’ve ever had, and those Gruyère puffs are insanely good. I had the Bavette steak, and my husband had the chicken cordon bleu… Incredible! You cannot miss out on the drinks; the cocktails are so good and the spritz hour is a great deal. Highly recommend!“

“I had almost 2 hours before I was to board my plane. I love a good wine bar. We have plenty in Dallas, so I thought I’d give it a try. I give them five stars! I bought a bottle of wine to take home with me, I had a panini and a flight of wine. The staff were very nice and personable. I loved it.“

“Jay, what a night you and the crew put on for my wife’s 6Oth! It was top shelf! Fabulous night and the experience and the environment is the way it’s meant to be! “I came into town with my family last night and we came to Robust for the first time! The food was amazing and our server Brittney was fantastic, her and Devin mutually provided great service as well as a great time and experience. Brittney had very great table presence and serving manners. After years in the industry, I know that’s hard to come by!! We will be back because of this experience next time we visit stl!!“

“As an event planner, I highly recommend Olive + Oak. Organized, extremely helpful, on it in every single way. The event space is wonderful, and they absolutely understand how their venue works. Best of all - every single employee that I came into contact with was beyond kind, helpful & fast. Do not hesitate to add Olive Oak+ Oak to your list of possible venues - and if they have the date open, snag it! You will NOT be disappointed.“

“The steak was superior (sliced filet mignon) a 10/10 and fairly priced. The noise level was acceptable compared to similar venues equally crowded. The service could have been better. I ordered a wedge salad with my steak that never came to the table. We (party of 5) had one round of drinks and weren't asked about drinks again. They brought the check and never asked if we cared for desert or coffee. It may have been a long day for them and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I will come back ;)“

“The Avenue came highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. I joined my siblings for lunch here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was expansive and delicious. I recommend the pear cocktail and manhattan winter. W enjoyed the French on Mon soup, beet salad, penne with mushrooms, schnitzel sandwich, and classic creme bruise.“

“Five stars!!! My family of four each has plenty of options to keep them happy on this menu! Smoked mushrooms are wonderful. Would love to see another vegetarian option or two but love this place! The half salads are an incredible value for $5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great friendly staff also!“

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here.. we had not been to the new location, but had been many times over the last 10 years to the previous location. The food never disappoints. You can spend your whole evening just having a drink and tasting multiple delicious Tapas. And make sure you end the evening with a Bread pudding with caramel sauce, that is amazing! I have nothing but good things to say from the service, to the ambience, to the food, to the atmosphere in general . The second location is definitely a little smaller, but I promise you it is worth a try . Situated in the heart of Clayton, you could not ask for a better evening out. We are all better for them having reopened -a staple place to why St. Louis restaurants have us all spoiled.😃 Thank you !“
