“The pizza is always good and if there is a problem they will try to make it right. The pandemic has had lasting effects on the service industry and they don't have an easy job. I do think the website needs work but that is by no means the manager or the employees fault.“
“The restaurant is very clean and bright inside. Staff is very friendly and professional. Menu has lots to choose from and prices are good. Did not have to wait long for food after ordering. Food tasted very good. Will visit here again.“
“Elite. In food and service. The pasta has me in a chokehold that I never want to get out of! You can tell that the chefs really put their time into designing and preparing the dishes. I go here a lot and this visit was getting dinner with a friend. The server was amazing. She was attentive and never let our water dip below half glass. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, but it was still easy to have a conversation without yelling and still felt private. If loving Katie's Pizza & Pasta is wrong, I don't want to be right! 15/10 would recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free optionsParking: Large parking lot shared with other businesses. Plenty of spaces.“
“My new favorite pizza in STL! I had the Porky Fig and my friend had the Don Corleone; both very good pizzas!Good beer selection (anything by Log Boat is always a great choice!)Also great to see a lots of people busily and happily working post-COVID when so many places are seeking help and have skeleton crews!“
“Everything was great except the pizza which is sad considering their “specialty” is pizza. Salad’s were large and flavorful, house wine was great and poured generously and the bread was crispy and toasted to perfection. The atmosphere and service were top notch and the pizza was virtually flavorless, very plain tasting and it looked like they put 0 effort into the flavor and prep. of the crust which is sad considering I came here for the pizza. I would return but not for the pizza, everything else was that good.“
“Due to a really pleasant experience, I am going to give this place another try and a boost to 4 stars although I really want to lean closer to 3.5. Restaurant is small with a handful of kind of uncomfortable tables (table base is really big, not a lot of room for your feet) in a small front-area, a counter for ordering, and a narrow bar "next door" through a doorway. Ordering experience was stellar. Great service with a smile from the delightful woman manning the register. I also liked the thoughtful placement of a cart with to-go containers, extra silverware sets, and napkins so you can help yourself to what you need. 3 of 4 of us ordered a lunch special which was probably not the best intro to this place. 8 inch pizza with up to 3 toppings (generous), side a drink for a decent price. it's really hard to evaluate a pizza in an 8 inch size. Pizza to me was ok. I thought the sauce needed more flavor and I thought the toppings (especially onions) didn't cook all the way through before the crust finished. My pizza was just a little bland. Side salads were fresh, had plenty of good veggies, and dressings were good but the small bowls made it hard to toss. My daughter especially liked the big artichokes in the full-size house salad. We had both the bone in and boneless wings and they were fine fresh, well cooked, but nothing outstanding. The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful picking a house-made beer which was decent. As we were getting ready to go back to the counter to order some warm cookies for the kids the very nice woman at the counter brought a plate to our table. Very generous and just a great service experience. Although our first intro to the food was only OK, I do think the service was good enough to try a couple of full-sized pizzas to really judge the quality. I wish I could do 3.5 stars but the great experience was enough to bump them up.“
“Was reluctant at first, but I'm glad my better half decided that we were going to try as we have never been. As we entered, we were greeted with a simple and soft welcome, we looked at the menu and decided to try a NY style crust, best decision by far! The toppings were perfect for the pizza, not overwhelming, the taste was great and will definitely come back.“
“People have asked me to recommend a good pizza place. I will recommend THE BEST pizza place I know... Double D's Pizzeria.Double D's is a small, family owned and operated, establishment located along Tesson Ferry Rd. between Butler Hill Rd. and Wells Rd.I highly recommend their St. Louis style pizza, calzones, chicken wraps, and cheese fries - among many other things on their menu. Their pizzas are thin crust with a blend of cheeses. If you like bacon on your pie, you'll LOVE this... Bacon crumbles AND strips. I honestly can't put it in words how good it is.Double D's is a family friendly restaurant with eat-in and carry out options (no delivery). The ambiance inside is laden with sports jerseys and memorabilia from local high school sports teams. Multiple TV's in the restaurant showcase sports channels and other entertainment. There is also a small game room with a couple of arcade type games to keep the littles entertained. You honestly can't go wrong here. If you're looking for a local, non-commercial family friendly pizza place, then look no further than Double D's!!“
“I dont think the salad making lady likes me. She smiles at all the men and facially scowls at me.....lol. Not a friendly gal for sure but, i go there for the food and it cannot b beat. The cashier guy is super nice and friendly too! Praise “
“Best unexpected menu item...Rolando's Merry Christmas Chicken Noodle soup. This is not your grandmother's Chicken soup! The soup was a delectable blend of tender chunks of chicken, sweet carrots, Christmas Tree pasta, and celery in a savory broth with melting Parmigiano cheese on top. A palate-pleasing meld of flavors for the soul!“
“Quality: 10/10Portion: 10/10Price: 7/10 (before inflation it was unbeatable)Service: 10/100 (it feels like a hunters cabin)Recommendations:Their steaks are delicious and filling, great cuts, and reasonably priced. Their tucker burger is so good and its pricing is competitive with fastfood. I hear their buffalo chicken sandwiches are really good. They also have some really good loaded potato skins.“
“Loved my gluten free meal and so glad to have so many options! I do recommend you start putting allergy sticks in the GF dishes. The GF pasta was so good that I was concerned I was eating gluten, and there was no way for me to verify once we got it home.“
“Holy foodies! family owned restaurant Ballwin, MO. Their product puts the famous IMOs pizza to shame. You MUST order the homemade sausage with the sauce and provell cheese... it's perfect.I recommend half pepperoni - bell pepper and pepperoni -pineapple.My mouth is watering writing this.we have a standing mandate to eat hear before any vacation. It is just that good.“
“I just recently moved to Saint Louis and I hate to admit it to my new fellow Missourians, but I am not a fan of the toasted raviolis I have tried. That all changed when I came to Farratos. The toasted raviolis were perfectly filled, had the perfectly toasted crunch and paired so well with their delicious sauce. The service has always been great here, but Nicole was top notch! She was very personable, knowledgeable and made sure we had what we needed and more. Thank you Nicole!“
“?????This place is great the food is always really good and made in a timely manner and the wait staff really go the extra mile to make sure everything is to your liking I believe our server's name was Tyler great guy really friendly we made sure to give him a big tip I've never had a server like that you can tell he really enjoys and cares about what he does I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know for sure ????☺️????Parking: Theres always plenty of spots to parkKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly they even give out crayons and paper for the kids our kids like the food so much they even drew a picture for the kitchen staff ??“
“Waited a long long time to sit and a long long time for the food. It was busy but I was told they were short staffed too. Got GF pizza and it was very good. They need a bigger location and be more organized to handle the traffic. Have a take out station closer to door.“
“This is such a great brunch find! Unique menu full of locally sourced ingredients. Fresh pressed juices and fabulous coffee bar. The ambiance is eclectic, warm, and inviting. The restaurant follows an admirable quality of sustainability and carbon footprint consciousness. There is a taproom and cocktail lounge Thursday-Saturday evenings featuring local singer-songwriter focusing on Americana with occasional blues and jazz. The taproom boasts handcrafted cocktails and pints from locally sourced breweries. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It's definitely become a family favorite!“
“There is not a better pizza in St Louis. Trust me, my wife and I (she’s from Memphis/ he’s from Chicago) have been searching for the last 29 blessed years we have lived here. We absolutely love this pizza. Just tried the spicy sauce. Wow why have we waited? Thanks that’s a nice pizza !“
“Went out of our Box and tried a new place and Wow Glad we did !!! This place is amazing staff is amazing but overwhelmed !!! The food is amazing not one bad choice the Pizza Cosmo chicken amazing the Carolina mustard wing sauce wings not sure you can beat those with the other sauce choices Al's we had S-Stl bread sticks Wow !!! We also tried the Taco Mac really good this is a must in Ellisville you won't be disappointed!!!! Ohh the beer flight is also Great the Pecan Winston's English Brown you gotta try !!!“
“This was the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust is what did it for me. A little crisp with some chew. It has flavor by itself, not just a bland base like a lot of places. The toppings were good, too.I had the Philly Cheesesteak and loved it.We had our pies in about 5 minutes, which was great because I can get impatient when I'm hungry.Since there's no dine-in option, we just parked in the big parking lot and had a little impromptu tailgate dinner date.Looking forward to our next visit.“
“First time at Picklemans. Staff was upbeat and courteous. Great value for the money. Restaurant clean. Bread was fresh, vegetables fresh. Lemonade was awesome. The chips were a brand I wasn't familiar with, but they were delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that the chicken salad was a bit bland. Otherwise, I would recommend and will go back again.“
“I used the drive-thru. I purchased an order of 12 breadsticks with Alfredo dipping sauce and an entree that they custom made for me, which was a baked ziti with Alfredo sauce. The person taking my order was very helpful and suggested my entree based on what I described to him, and it turned out to be everything I was hoping for. Breadsticks were 10/10 as always. There was a little bit of a wait, but no longer than I expected considering I ordered pasta. I highly recommend Fazolis to anyone thinking about trying it. This location is phenomenal!“
“We came here on an impromptu date night, and it was great! Plenty of parking, lots of seats and lots of St. Louis decor. Food all looked good and we had a hard time picking. Chose to get the appetizer sampler and a custom double decker pizza. We picked meatballs, fresh garlic, artichoke hearts and pepperocinis. Lots of leftovers! Everything tasted great and paired well with a couple of beers. Our server did a great job of getting g us what we needed and giving us space to enjoy it. Very friendly and helpful! We are looking forward to coming back soon and trying the sandwiches and salads!“
“I had a sourdough burger(rare) with fries here with my aunt. Everything about the meal was perfect. The burger was exactly how I wanted it and tasted great. The fries were fresh and crispy and the service was great. Will be visiting here again.“
“Ordered the Saturday specials. 14’ hand tossed with Italian sausage and mozzarella. The special comes with wings. Ordered all flats. The order was correct. Everything was super fresh and delicious! So happy that this Chicago girl has found great pizza in the area!“
“I was here over the weekend for a birthday and enjoyed my time so much. The food was delicious and quick. The atmosphere was cool as always. But the staff is what made it such a good time. Everyone was so friendly. Our server Gabby was always there at the right time, quick, efficient, kind, and absolutely hilarious. When I come back I want her every time.“
“Picked up my kids last night from college out of state & they HAD to get her Cecil's fix right away, despite how tired they were. Their pizza were PERFECT. Kudos to the new owner Katie. You provided wonderful, attentive service & the fois was great!“
“Always go for lunch with a friend. No alcohol license but you can bring your own bottle of wine which we do, small fee for service. Lunch menu wide, always opt for upside on salad, theirs the best. Small place but decor fine, server very nice. Can't be bear.Dietary restrictions: Willing to work on changes such as grill vs fried, omit ingredients. Very accommodating.Parking: Small strip mall but at lunch plenty of parking.“
“I was bringing my kids to an event out this way with my parents and we decided to go to lunch here before. So glad we did. It’s about 35 mins from home, but i’d go back. They had a special for any burger $7 (no side). I was good with no side since we got 2 appetizers (both the potato skins & garlic parm fries were great). Very large helping of fries but only 4 potato skins (we had a table of 5 so not everyone even got 1). The burger was great. One person got chicken wings and they were massive. It is slightly loud so if you have an issue with that, know that going in. Possible the patio maybe is quieter. The decor is cool, including the drum lights. Would love to see one of these around south county!“
“Great place for families and kids.Chill vibe, good hangout spot for all kinds of needs - bar and drinks, snacks, full mealThey have a quite accomodating dining space. Food tastes great! Their menu is quite good with a variety of options for pizzas?, calzones, burgers, drinks, snacks - like fries or pretzel bites, etc.You can choose and make your own pizza.Kids will like the place.I think it'll be a perfect happy hour option. There is ample parking space and it has some installations on the entrance for good picture spots.“
“I've lived in STL for over 40yrs and last night was my first time here. I've clearly been deprived all that time. Fun, quirky, cozy place with great service and ample room to spread out and have fun. As others have said, great dive bar, hidden gem, etc. In the case of this place, it's both the journey (to get there) AND the destination (a place you want to be) all in one. From the super cool 100+yr old one lane bridge on the road in, to the money stapled to the ceiling, this place would be equally at home in places like New Orleans or Chicago. I will definitely be back.“
“I have been burned out on pizza for a while because none of the chains are what they used to be and I detest provel cheese. This was a great alternative and for me, a truly good pizza tastes just as good cold the next day as it did fresh and hot...well my meatball pizza passed that test with flying colors and my pizza breakfast was fantastic! I'll definitely be back.“
“Have been going here for years and the pizza is always great but the customer service is always even better. Drew always makes sure everyone is getting what they want. Drew and his staff do an amazing job here with the food and customer service.“
“Food came out just like it should. HOT food HAWT and Cold food cold. Everything is made fresh, so make sure you remember that as you are starving. Pizza was fantastic. Don't know why we haven't been back before now. But will definitely won't be the same amount of time before we are back.“
“1st time there and we will be back. The smoked wings with lemon pepper were outstanding. Our server was Taylor who suggested them. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is outstanding. All the servers help each other great team work. Very good food, prices and service.“
“Omg, I'm stuffed! Why? I just enjoyed an amazing dinner at Lilianas Italian Kitchen!! Had the Broccoli chicken rigatoni, and some cheese garlic bread!! The portions are huge!! My husband loved the chicken parmesan! We shared the chocolate cake, which is from The Blue Owl Bakery. We will definitely be back to try something else!! We really enjoyed our meal, and will enjoy the leftovers!!“
“Everything is good here, service included. My grandmother always loved this place, and they serve her favorite quesadillas of all time. We come here on her birthday in February every year to honor her memory, and get the quasadias every time. I wish they'd rename them on the menu, "Renee's Quesadillas".“
“The food was a little pricey but was very good. Our server was very friendly and yet professional. I recommend this spot for an enjoyable experience.Parking: They rely on on street parking so you may have to walk a distance which is difficult for handicapped people.“
“The food was excellent! Our party of two ordered one entree from the menu and requested a non-menu entree that was prepared perfectly. The app offerings are well thought-out and range from 'standard' through 'gourmet'. Everything was prepared as requested and served on a timely basis. The dessert selection is rather limited, but the aperitifs will replace any dessert shortcomings very well. And if you are like me and enjoy coffee after dinner, they offer espresso and cappuccino. Entree prices are mostly in the $20 -$30 range as are most comparable restaurants in their geography. The service is top-shelf; our server was Shawn. He was friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable of menu items, professional and willing to assist should diners want assistance. Shawn is an absolute "Pro"! The ambience is clean, open (tables not jammed against each other) and functional. It's great to not be forced to listen to another table's conversation. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to 'lower the brightness' in the dining room, it has a negative effect on the entire experience. We will become regular customers of Gianfabio's.“
“This was our first time at Lalo's. We decided to order a pizza to-go. It was a great first impression! The pizza was delicious! Perfect, crispy thin crust. The sauce is just a little on the sweet side, which we loveThe staff we encountered during this order and pick up were friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back! The restaurant is in the basement, so if steps are an issue you may want to keep that in mind.“
“This place has always been good, but it is greatly improved with the complete interior redesign they did a few years back.Parking: It's in a strip mall location, so there's plenty of parking. Getting out of the lot does require some patience however. The traffic light is slow for people trying to get back on the road.“
“We order from here for work lunches once in a while and they are always amazing! The pizza is absolutely delicious and the salads are good as well. We all agree at work that the ranch dressing is amazing! So good ?We always opt for delivery and the food comes very fresh and hot every time.“
“The food was different. Not exactly the pizza I expected, especially for the price. Some of the pineapples tasted iffy. The salad was an excellent mix of greens and chicken. Some cheese would have nice. You line up to order, and they bring your food to the table AND still expect a tip. It's pretty much the same service as many fast food places. It was nice to have real utensils and napkins. That was a good touch. The dining room was neat and mostly clean. Some of the staff were very friendly and some....not so much.Parking: Even after the rush, parking was sparse.Wheelchair accessibility: It is.“
“Vegetarian options: Lot of options for your pizza or salad without meat. I would not recommend the garlic cheese bread. They had it so loaded with a spice that made it taste soapy. I couldn’t eat it so the whole thing went in the garbage.Kid-friendliness: A family walked in to order and had a birthday party for their daughter.“
“Newly remodeled Ellisville location.10/14-Dinner.The staff was great, friendly, helpful and patient with the kids ... the place was clean & salad bar was well maintained and fresh. Great pizza. Fun nite for grandkids.Dietary restrictions: Salad bar options and veggie pizza ..also had gluten-free option for pizza crust.“
“Solid "St Louis" Italian spot. Big on the cream sauce, not too fond of olive oil options. Tasty. Mondo portions. Higher prices than their peers, but the portion difference makes it easier to swallow (see what I did there). 3.75 STARS.“
“I have gone here my whole life and still love going here. This last time I went the fettuccine was not that great. It had way too much butter and seemed like I could pick the whole bowl up on my fork. The chicken was dried out, either overcooked or had been sitting out awhile. I would still eat here and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to see the house dressing sold in stores one day.“
“We love this place and have since they opened! The food is always a hit, pizza, hot wings and chicken Cesar salad are our favorites! It’s a great family friendly atmosphere with the arcade room to keep the kids entertained. Staff and owners are always great and it’s a staple in High Ridge!“
“What a lovely place to discover! Went looking for a new pasta place and was recommended we try Joe Boccardi's Ristourante and from the servers to the food and conversing with the manager it was a delightful experience even though we showed up an hour before closing time! “
“A chain location with a Cheers bar type of feel.Me me wanna tip for takeoutLook…….it’s Imo’s ? at the end of the day but the customer service was so chill and accommodating. Not sure who the guy was that helped me out but he gave off an owner/operator type of vibe like Sam from Cheers. He offered me a drink while I waited for my carry out order and was overall super friendly. Kept me updated on when to expect my pizza and didn’t forget to offer Parmesan and red pepper ?️ flakes when it came out the oven. Didn’t feel like just another customer idk ??♂️ Anyway food was hot and delicious so of course I’ll be back.“
