“We love going to Saucy's in High Ridge. The owners are very personable and the food is great. You pick your crust type, cheese, toppings or you can get one of their specialty pizzas. We love the carnivore pizza! The pizza sauce has the right flavor and isnt bitter or sweet, its perfect.Their wings are made without deep frying. They run them thru their pizza cooker. If you like crisper wings just tell them you want them crispier. The hillbilly seasoning is my favorite but they are all soo good. Also, the stuffed crust bites are a must try. Chuck E himself comes out regularly and dances/takes pics with kids/plays peekaboo, high fives, waves, etc. My daughter says "SEE MOUSE" daily to me so she is a big fan. The fun pass I find to be a very good deal. It's a one time payment for two months unlimited plays essentially. My daughter is 2 and they have good games for that age range. They also have adult/big kid games.

I saw one person give a negative review about the staff, and honestly I think some parents end up treating the staff like garbage. I have seen a woman shout and snap her fingers at an employee at this location (over the trampoline fee which is ridiculous, we all agree, but the employees don't control that at all). Just treat the employees nicely and you will find they are friendly, helpful, etc.“

“We ordered two cauliflower crust, all-vegetable pizzas to-go yesterday afternoon. While the pizzas were prepared very nicely (in terms of topping layout and quantity) by an employee, the pizzas were both burned to different degrees - one quite a bit and the other partially. This situation required us to return to Mod Pizza when we opened the pizza boxes at a nearby park. **We want to thank Charlie, Manager at Mod Pizza-Kirkwood, for his courtesy and professionalism yesterday in resolving our concerns.** Charlie and the employee who helped us earlier today made things right for us, and we feel much better about returning to this particular Mod Pizza in the future! We also want to give our great thanks to Mod Pizza-Kirkwood employee Ethan who was outstanding—very conscientious, warm, and professional—during a previous visit to this location.

We very much appreciate Mod’s rich assortment of vegetables and the non-white flour option (i.e., the cauliflower crust).

A few requests for Mod Pizza as a company:

1.) Please train your Staff to consistently uphold standards of courtesy and professionalism. Some are excellent (courteous and thorough) and others are not particularly friendly and don't seem especially motivated to make sure that the food is well-prepared from start to finish.

2.) Please cut your broccoli much larger. For the pizzas prepared for us today, the broccoli was almost completely burned, and inedible. Our experience (in pizza-making at home) is that if the broccoli pieces are large, they won’t get burned.

3.) Please put the raw garlic on your pizza after the pizza is taken from the oven; if the garlic is cooked with the pizza, it comes out charred.

4.) In regard to dietary restrictions:

a.) Please find a way to make your cauliflower crust vegan. We had been advised by another Mod Pizza location that the cauliflower crust is vegan, but it turns out that that other location apparently gave us the incorrect information!

b.) Please offer a vegan, whole-wheat crust option.

“There are not enough stars to rate Katie’s. I needed a place to accommodate a large but unconfirmed number of guests for my husband’s retirement lunch. I spoke with Janelle a few times and she listened to everything I had to say. I was concerned about people traveling from all over and not having a precise headcount. We opted for a reservation in the main dining area and Janelle, Simon and the entire staff exceeded every expectation I could have had. They helped move tables around as more people showed up, they gave great food recommendations and were overall just very helpful and personable. They even treated our group to complimentary tiramisu and ricotta donuts. The mascarpone crema was incredible. I don’t know when we will be back in St. Louis but Katie’s is already on the agenda! “My husband has been dying to try Katie's for some time now. We made our way here excited to experience real, fresh, delicious Italian food. Instantly walking up there's a nice outdoor vibe, not overly fancy, but very pleasant with outdoor lights, plenty of shaded area, plants for decor, and seating for various group sizes. The inside is also a fresh and modern decor. You're instantly greeted to be seated inside or out. I noticed right away their branding, pasta to cook at home and sauces for sale. The pasta is near white, which you know means it's real! So we knew we were in for a treat. Upon being seated we looked over the menu and couldn't decide what to try (note: there is a lot of Italian lingo on the menu). Luckily, with the help of our very friendly and sweet waitress, she was able to give us her recommendations and explain some of the other options to us. We decided to go all out and get started with bread service and the cheese sticks (note: some names of items were more Italian-I'm giving you the English cliff note version). That bread is AMAZING!!!! So fresh and delicious!! I loved the airy texture and simple but yet delicious flavor of the simplicity of fresh ingredients and love. The flake salt on top just hit the nail on the head. As for the cheese sticks, the breading was a softer texture but crispy from the cook. They were very large in size with a fresh cheese inside. Hot and delicious. The theme to this review is definitely how much you can taste the freshness and overall care and dedication this chef has to their food. It comes served with a side of marinara. There were 6 sticks total (our picture was a little late). We ended up choosing a pepperoni pizza (just plain style not the ezzo on the menu with spice and honey-my husband let me have my way), the fiama Marla bolognese, & the kids marinara spaghetti. The pizza was everything and more! Thin but fluffy crust, tons of flavor, cheese was the perfect ratio with a good amount of pepperoni too. It is not overly sauced, which we both enjoyed. Again, super fresh, perfect consistency on the crust and delectable flavor! My son (pickiest eater alive-meaning we had to flip the spaghetti over so that it hid the Parmesan Romano) LOVED his spaghetti! The noodles were more al dente than I cook them, but yet it tasted perfect! Both the hubs and I said we'd totally get the spaghetti with meatballs on our next visit. Now, as for the bolognese, we actually did not care for this one. It had a different, almost bitter taste we couldn't identify. The noodles in it though, so fresh and cooked perfectly!!! Plus, they were thick and delicious like no where else in St. Louis. All the portions were large, even the kids! They are also sauced in the best way, not overly sauced. I think what we figured out was that this place doesn't have to over compensate for anything because they use quality ingredients that they let shine in their cooking-it's that freshness and care that they are able to share the story of real Italian food! We loved that! It definitely shines at Katie's! Our waitress did a great job to come back and check in with us about flavors and any needs we might have-even with two young kids with us, she acknowledged them too. To our surprise when we advised at the boxing stage that we just didn't care for the bolognese, she had her manager come out and he apologized, even though it was our taste we made clear that was probably the issue, not them. In the end, he still comped that plate-not at all necessary, but overly gracious and it really shows of how much their service matters to them. That in itself rates high with us! You just don't find that kind of hospitality anywhere now days. We really felt like we were part of a family coming here to eat. That's just how they treated you. In addition they have a ton of Italian desserts we saved for the next trip, as well as a great wine list and Coke products for drinks. The restrooms were clean and everything was well kept. “First time here and I smelled pizzas cooking so I ordered the 9 inch thin crust pizza with grilled chicken and roma tomatoes. It came out piping hot. At first glance I noticed the cheese and the tomatoes and pizza sauce, I didn’t notice the grilled chicken. The chicken was probably buried under the cheese. The pizza tasted good but not great. The pizza sauce was a little boring, it was missing that basil taste and smell. The sauce needs a lot more seasoning. I did find the chicken under the cheese but the chicken seemed a little plain too. These changes would change the pizza from a 4 to a 5. I sat at the bar where I received excellent service.“

“We love Crafty Chameleon! There is plenty of seating between the inside of the restaurant and the patio. We sat on the patio in the covered section. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Nathan and I split a signature pizza. On my half, I got the Deluxe which includes, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Nathan's half was the Cosmo's Chicken, which included a sweet and spicy bbq sauce, smoked chicken, red onion, scallions, guda and mozzarella. I absolutely love their wood fire pizza, the crust is very crispy, yet light and airy. I did get a side salad, which was okay, the lettuce could have been better as it was romaine and had big hard chunks. Probably would not spend the $5 for this salad again, but I was starving!
Our go to beer is usually Blue Moon, however, since they brew their own, we opted for the Orange Wheat. This beer was very sweet and had a full citrus flavor.

I personally really love this location. It's in the middle of a really really busy part of town, but inside its super easy going and peaceful. ? It's a cozy nook in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and I love it. If you've never been to ?MOD, its got amazing customizable pizzas and salads that are all only around 10$. Plus they have Beer ? which is great with Pizza.

Would be great if this location still had beer on tap. Especially with it being fall, maybe some pumpkin beer and a pbr or something ?‍♂️ would be perfect, and make mod the spot for real.

Seems like anymore when you go into a mod though (Not Arnold: just speaking from experience at st charles, st peters) people are always tired and grouchy. I get it, work sucks, life happens, all that and such. But, im just looking to get pizza and hang out. Lets be cherry together through our shitty days.
