“We picked up lunch today. Had the southern fried fish and shrimp platter and nola seafood gumbo. The fish and shrimps were fresh. The batter was so good and crunchy. but the service was above and beyond exceptional. Friendly guy, made changes for our order without charge and he came by to check on us later to see if we were happy with our food“

“Our server, Kristal, was amazing. We came down here to visit our kids and we came to eat here and this young lady did her job and made us feel like we weren’t just customers we were family. My husband is a big joker and she would joke with him and laugh. The food was awesome. Never seen a manager but that’s ok. But to be honest Kristal is what made the experience worth coming for. Thank you young lady and when we come back we hope you are still here.. thanks flatheads for the experience and good staff!!!“

“Just as I remember it to be as a child. Sundays we would order seafood pi-boys and an ice cold Barq’s root beer! Remember it being down on the point, before Hurricane Camille destroyed our community! Love this new spot on Division & Caillavet Streets! Good still has that great taste I remember! This place gets 5 stars and more for the quality of food, atmosphere and genuine southern hospitality! The covered Outdoor seating is the best! I will plan to stop by again when I’m back in town!“

“The food was fantastic, you need to cut back on the salt on the crab legs. Yesterday for my birthday they were real salty. I didn't even go back for a second round. When you're in renal failure your kidneys can't process salt.“
