“Wow what a meal! Everything was amazing! We were greeted at the door by a very friendly waitress that seated us. We started out with the tamales and sautéed shrimp with garlic bread. The tamales were dang good but man those shrimp were the bomb! We both ordered the porthouse steak and man were they monstrous! They were both cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The filet side of the steak was unbelievably tender and favorable. The strip side which is generally tougher was almost as tender as the filet side. The waitress did an exceptional job taking care of us. Unbelievable meal, will definitely be back!“

“Went to Spectator’s for dinner while in Greenville. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. We had fried green tomatoes, baked oysters with spinach and hamburger steak. Everything was delicious and served hot and fresh. Would definitely go back again. Fun and relaxing atmosphere.“

“This was my second visit here at Scoops. The first time I had a small cup of gumbo, it was okay. Each day is a different lunch menu for $13.00 per person. This isn't bad if you want comfort food. 👍🏻 They also have a regular menu where you can order other items. Those prices are kinda reasonable under $20.00. I had the ruben 🥪 sandwich with potato 🥔 salad. Other family members weren't impressed. The burger 🍔 meat was very dry. The hot roast beef sandwich with gravy was very disappointing. It was everything but hot 🥵 The cheese 🧀 looked old, & the gravy was cold. 🥶 A lot of people had been raving about Scoops but never believed in the hype. 🤗 Oh yes, 1 more thing they do have a variety of delicious ice cream.. 😜😋“

“Went to a meet and greet and ordered soft drinks and appetizers. Everything was excellent, including the service. The next night we had dinner and a meeting. The food was great and the facilities were perfect for our meeting. I highly recommend the restaurant.“

“April 14 2025 I ate at Captain D's the service was horrible we had to wait in our car for 20 minutes for our food then when we get it so much grease in the fish and fries I had a medium tea when I reached for the tea the top wasn't secured and waisted all over my clothes and car seat“

“My newest ice cream addiction......OREO big scoop cookie dough hot fudge sundae!!! OMG!!! It is SO good and definitely a sugar overload!! Just an FYI, I cannot be held liable for any addictions or habit forming this sundae may/will cause!! Lol It is that darn good folks!!!!! YummY to a whole other level!!! Possible side effects: scale will go up, up, up, jeans getting a little snug and not able to go 24 hours without wanting another one!! Get ready folks.....and remember.....I warned ya!!!! WoopWoop!!
