“Brandi and her staff are friendly and attentive to the details, which I wouldn't expect less from a Michelin Starred pastry chef. I had the Old Smokey sandwich and they kindly substituted the ham for turkey, an Americana, and a cup of fruit. They were all three delicious.“

“I love Edgar's. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Everything tastes fresh and the specials are always something to try. My favorites are, Eggplant Elliouse, 6 oz filet, fried green tomatoes and if you catch the crab cake or stuffed crab, they are a must. Don't skip dessert! Most all of the deserts are homemade (maybe all) and they are always so good. My husband and I love to sit in the bar and chat with Jody the bartender.“

“Best Molcajete I have had period. Michelada was spot on. Have only had one better and that was in Chattanooga. Great experience. Nacho is an amazing person who takes great pride in his food and service. I am writing this review at another Mexican restaurant on the coast, wishing I had driven the two hours to eat at Los Primos instead.“

“We did the tourist thing in Laurel this past week. Ate dinner at The Loft both Tuesday, with Abby as our server, and Thursday, with Emma as our server. I'll start with how fabulous these 2 young ladies were. Very attentive, took excellent care of us, and we just found them very nice and we had lovely conversations with them. The food both nights were excellent as well as the cocktails. On Tuesday, I had the special of fried oysters and hubby had the fried shrimp. We also had the appetizer of steak bites. On Thursday, I had the 9 oz filet tenderloin wrapped in bacon (pricey) and hubby had the Alfredo pasta with steak strips. My hubby is not a steak person, but loved the tenderness/flavor of the steak bites and steak strips. He also said the Alfredo sauce was the best he's ever had. Our compliments to the chef and bartender as well. Very enjoyable meals.“

“This place has been open for 1.5 yrs. How have I not heard of this place? A relative took us today for the first time. The best time to arrive is when they open at 11am so you can get a parking spot and seat inside. It's a casual setting. When you go in you order and pay at the counter, they call your name and bring your order to your table. They give you a beverage cup when you place you order and it's self serve. We had a couple of 4 x4 plates to try a variety. We are not rib eaters because they are usually too much fat on the them. The ribs and brisket were lean and perfect. The fried okra was came out hot and delicious. You can order meats fatter but that just the way we prefer them. As you can see from the photos lots of food. You will have left overs. For dessert, I was told we had to have it. So we shared. Not sure what the name was but it reminded me of a honeybun. Staff was really friendly, place was really clean, and the food was really really good! We will definitely be back and telling others. You can call in an order and pickup or dine in. You are missing a treat if you have not tried this place. Enjoy“
