“It is small but quaint. The nice lady who seems to run it was friendly, fast and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS, hot and MADE FRESH!! I will definitely go back and I have already told friends about this hidden gem!! The cost is VERY affordable especially, since it is all made FRESH! It's actually less expensive than a typical fast food place.“

“This location is the best! In the middle of bad weather, I raced to this restaurant to pick up my order I called in. This location closes at 9:30. I pulled up to door at 9:29 in the middle of a storm. The worker saw me pull up and came out to my car with an umbrella and walked me to the door. I apologized for coming so late and paid for my order. The worker was so friendly and kind to me the whole time. Walking out of the restaurant, she said “Let me help.” She grabbed the umbrella again and walked me to my car. I know this may not mean much to some, but this is one of the nicest things that happened to me this year! Also, my order was correct and the food was amazing! Thank you sooo much! ♥️“

“I absolutely love Valley St Fish, when I have a fish craving this is my go to place. The only thing I dislike is that this place has probably been in business since before I was born and they have don’t no upgrades to the building or parking. You would think with all these centuries of being in business they would make some improvements to the place. You also have to have life insurance to park and cross the street to get to the building as traffic is horrendous. Other than this it’s the best fish place in the city.“

“I just want to thank the Chef at the Westin for preparing a wonderful meal to take to my room. I’m from the South and I know Cornbread, Catfish, and Gumbo. Catfish was excellent, and the Gumbo was actually scooped out from the bottom of the pot for my “to go” order. Too much to eat, although I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would recommend this restaurant to the locals in the Jackson area.“

“Ordered a 2 egg breakfast and they never made my order and I asked for a refund 3 times and each time they got sidetracked and never answered me. I expect either a refund or my food.
Update: I went back the next day and they made up for it. I was told they had a busy night.“
