“Came in for lunch. Was seat immediately and asked for beverage choice and given the options verbally. Which I like. My drink was given to me within 20 seconds of me being seated. I ordered the sushi & tempura lunch combo and a sweet tea. The food came out very fast and was cooked and presented very well.“

Was told no more creamed spinach which was listed and no more squash casserole, used to be favorite all the time! Phone order cornbread got rolls. “My absolute favorite place to eat at when I’m in town. Iv enjoyed this place for years now, ever since I was 19 and I was in College, now I’m about to be 30! “We decided to have an early dinner (4pm ish) & was surprised to see the restaurant parking lot was pretty full. Gratefully we were sat in a corner booth so it felt isolated from anyone else around. It was perfect seating for us as I have a social anxiety disorder & I was able to completely enjoy my meal. Now let’s talk THE MEAL. I ordered the Salmon w/ Asparagus & loaded Baked potato Hubby had a sirloin w/ same sides. We were BOTH pleasantly surprised bc this was the best meal we have had since arriving 8 days ago. The portions are large, the taste is above & beyond and the service? Hands down best so far. Although not real chatty our server was on it. Mouth - I wanted to lick the sauce off the plate but decided to wait till got home - but your buttocks I poured every drop in my to go container. The Salmon? Velvet. Juicy!!!!! Seasoned to absolute perfection. The asparagus? I often have issues chewing asparagus but every single cm was edible and tasty. I saved most for tonight- better than candy! The baked potato was phenomenal! The outside peel;crust? Same as the sauce! It was loaded and so freaking yummy with the bacon. This was an amazing meal. Well worth the $$!! “The restaurant is very cozy. Yia Yia and Papou always come out of the kitchen and greet their guests. They truly treat you like family. I came alone today. Usually come here with my husband. I started with a cup of soup of the day, had the roasted chicken with lemon potatoes as entree, and finished with a slice of lemoncello cake with coffee. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 yrs. Dined all of this wonderful country. Yia Yai’s has become one of my top 5 places to dine. Service is impeccable and the cuisine is so authentic and on point. It’s cold outside so it was a hard decision to make over choosing the roasted chicken or the Moussaka that has a hint of cinnamon in the sauce. Sat in the back booth and throughly enjoyed my lunch. “I had a chance to visit Poke Stop the other day on lunch since I’ve been trying to watch what I eat and I didn’t have a clue what to order but hey with the help of the young ladies there I did manage to order. The bowl was very different but over all I’d give it at 7 out of 10 only because it was something new but the vibes of the place is definitely a 10 out of 10 recommend. The price was reasonable — about $45 for two appetizers, one soft drink, two generous meal plates including rice and vegetables, one Turkish coffee, and two baklavas. Very good value!
