We placed our order upon arrival. However, she acknowledged hearing it but gave no valid reason for not putting it in. We had to request silverware multiple times. The royal reds were delicious as usual. However, Keyonte let the shells sit on the table for an extended amount of time despite there being little room for the oysters. We had to ask her to remove them. We asked her 2x for a to-go box. Finally, as we proceeded to self serve, Keyonte offered and delivered a box that was obviously too small for the oyster poboy and the check for $144.“

“Stopped for a late lunch at Panera bread. The sandwich that I got chicken bacon rancher was outstanding. I asked for it to be extra crispy toasted and it was hot and wonderful. My wife got a sandwich and soup. I think broccoli she said it was really good. The atmosphere is a little bit dark, but I think that’s by design. If you’re a college student who wants to spend hours in there looking at your laptop, this is the place for you. When we are in the Jackson area, we will eat there again.“

“I visited Urban Foxes yesterday morning on my way put of town and I am so happy I did. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the feel of the home this business is in. I tried an Iced coffee and a blueberry scone, that was made fresh that morning. It was delicious. Very Child, family and pet friendly as well. I highly recommend and will be back.“

“Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“The food was excellent, especially the baklava! The atmosphere is intimate and pleasant, and a little romantic. My husband and I had the lamb chops and the chicken kebab, both were great. The price was reasonable — about $45 for two appetizers, one soft drink, two generous meal plates including rice and vegetables, one Turkish coffee, and two baklavas. Very good value! “On May 25th we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely go back but I do not want Adam as my waiter ever again. The issue that I have with Adam as our waiter is this. When he passed by our table my husband put his finger up letting him know that we needed him. He brushed my husband off and told him that he would be back and he went on to other tables. When he finally came back through he didn’t stop like he said he would he passed by our table and went to another table. At first I was like ok but it kept happening. And every time Adam passed by he looked right at me in my eyes. So now we’re ready to go so we’re waiting and waiting because he told us that he would be back. Well when he came back he passed us up again and eventually my husband had to stop him and give him the check. We gave him our payment with a $20 tip but at first I wasn’t going to leave one but I said no I’m gonna do what’s right. But now I regret even leaving it. After he walked off we waited and waited and I noticed him walking to another table he looked me right in my eyes. And my thought process was like ok we gave him the money now clear us out so we can go. Another waiter walked by because he noticed me looking for our waiter we told him what was going on and we asked him if he can let Adam know to please give us our receipt. Adam then walked straight from the table where the other customer was and gave us our receipt. I thought to myself he had it on him all this time why did he let us wait this long to give us the receipt we could’ve been gone? I was going to make a complaint when I walked out but I was like no I’m going to write a review because I was ready to go because I was very irritated at this point.“

The birria is so tender, it's like they marinated it in unicorn tears and cooked it over the flames of a thousand phoenixes. The consomé? Oh, that’s the nectar of the taco gods. Dunk your taco in it, and you might as well be diving into a pool of pure bliss.

These tacos are the reason I wake up in the morning. They should come with a warning label: "May cause spontaneous dancing, excessive joy, and the uncontrollable urge to shout '¡Viva la Birria!' in public."

“My wife and I stopped over in Ridgeland during a recent road trip back to Texas. Our hotel was very close and convenient to Sombra. So glad we tried this restaurant. After reading many negative reviews, we were totally blown away with the food quality and service. This was one of the best meals we've had the entire road trip. Evan was our server and was so courteous and accommodating during our visit. This is a must try restaurant if you are in the area. We cannot wait for our next visit. You will not be disappointed.“

My mom ordered the Chicken & Waffles, the chicken was well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. My aunt had the Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs and fresh avocado slices…the eggs were light and the combination was simple and flavorful. My other aunt chose the turkey omelet but wasn’t a fan, mainly because she didn’t expect it to have so much cheese. After tasting my pancakes, she wished she’d gone that route instead!
