“We showed up with a hungry crew and ordered 1/2 chicken plate, and a family ribs plate with sides of fried okra, fried green tomatoes, onion rings, and fries. It was our first time trying okra and fried green tomatoes, they were great! The chicken was very tender, and the seasonings and BBQ sauce was so good. The young ones thought it was "delicious," and "wonderful," they especially loved the ribs, onion rings, and bbq sauce; and "liked everything!". My favorite part was the awesome owners. What amazing people! Glad to have met!“

Parking: The business next door receive a lot of business, so be aware of crowded parking be sure to park aways back to not get hit or blocked in“

“I was visiting from Toronto, Canada for an event and I put off visiting this place until we were ready to leave. I am kicking myself! The food here had me licking my ten fingers. I literally plan to visit just to have it again!
THANK YOU to the lovely people of Jackson, Mississippi who were kind enough to allow us to skip the line. The line was out the door and we waited as long as we could before we feared missing our flight. I am truly appreciative of all of the kind people I met in the line. Food was amazing, the men serving were quick and the people were all so nice to be around! Couldn't ask for more. My fiancé (who is from MS) order the fried chicken plate 10/10. Their fried chicken is amazing! I ordered the rib plate and OMG ... these were the best ribs I've had my whole life. My gawddd. I literally licked my 10 fingers and if I used my toes to eat I wouldve licked them too 😋 lmaoo! Look forward to going back!!“

“Stopped by with my bf late night and the food and hospitality was 💯😋😋😋🤤 thank you for i order the Philly cheese steak and loaded baked potato all for 20$ reasonable price and the food is delicious cooked right there on the spot yall did that im from Chicago and i love a good Philly cheese sandwich it makes me think of home definitely going to come back and try something else and send my coworkers to you too thanks again 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 @daveyvsryan on ig #foodisporn your going to be posted to my page gkt and im definitely going to recommend ppl to come and eat there 😉“

“Today I tried E&L & it has been a while but I’m so glad that my mind lead me there!!! Everyone recognized my husband & I as we’ve patronized the restaurant for years. The service was great & fast, prices have increased a bit but still very affordable as everything is increasing. Got home & our dinner was delicious. We had Tips, Links, Sauce on fries, & potatoe salad. Thanks E&L!! Closing time has changed a bit so check with them about hours of operation.“
