“This is the best place in Jackson for a great home style hamburger. It is consistently good. The burgers are big and cooked just right. The price was better than expected. It is my go to for burgers. They also have a variety of local menu favorites like turkey necks, fries fish, chicken, and Kool-aid. You can also enjoy a game of pool while u wait. I recommend ordering ahead. They give u a call when ur order is ready, to avoid having to get there and wait. The only issues are parking and location. The parking is very limited and kind of difficult to get to. No designating parking spots. It's also not well lit.“

“Chicago girl APPROVED! What I’m disappointed about is I’m JUST NOW trying them. They reminded me of everything home. From the size of the gyro down to the taste. I got my onions grilled. They give you a lot of meat but that’s how it’s done at home. I like that they didn’t overcook the meat, the sauce was right and even the fries were ok. In other reviews someone mentioned they don’t grill the onions and another said the sauce was just sour cream. So I’m guessing they made changes because I didn’t have those experiences. I like to eat some of my meat, tomatoes and onions in one sitting and come back later and eat the rest with the pita. For this review I did take a bite to make sure they put the pita on the grill with a lil oil without me asking. They did. I’ll be back! Crazy thing I’ve been so put off with food around here that I refused to try what I’m used to eating at home. But this was such a pleasant surprise.“

“Visiting out of town and and saw the Philly and the craving came. The woman who helped me was really sweet and caring for me and other customers. Good is good with limited staff when busy. But worth the wait. Come grab a bite!

“This hole in the wall Burger joint will blow your taste buds AWAY!! It's in a sketchy area with lots of boarded up buildings on a dark street but the risk is worth the reward 😮‍💨😅 We had a LONG wait for 3 burgers (about an hour) abd it smelled like weed and bad decisions inside BUT when we got our food....LORD HELP US! It was SO good. Seasoned fries were piping hot and so good. The burger was juicy, seasoned and the bread had a nice buttered crunch so you know they even hit the bun on the skillet! We devoured our food and went straight to sleep. IYKYK. 😆 So I've got to give this spot 4 stars bcuz you're going to risk it all...but it'll be the best burger in the city. 🤷🏾‍♀️“

“This is the best bbq in the city! I drive from stankin Rankin weekly to get it. Best ribs, crispy fries (with sauce on them) and baked beans with ground beef in town! Sausage good too. Be prepared to wait. Its at a gas station so parking can be tricky. Worth it still.“

Great place to take the family on nights you don't feel like cooking!! And they have some of the best orange juice and tasty breakfast choices!! Last but not least, don't forget to TIP!! “I ordered ahead online for a 20 piece buffalo wings with bleu cheese dipping sauce.
I jumped in the drive thru, and was asked to come to the walk up. I only had maybe a five min wait time for my food. The staff was nice and the building was clean. The food was delicious.“

“This was the best smoked chicken and baked beans I’ve ever had that chicken will make you slap your mother and your Grandma. The Olive Branch Chicken Coop has delicious food that is consistently good. Usually I bring the wings home, but one time I ate there and I started to notice how badly the restaurant was kept up. It is uncomfortably hot and you will smell like fried food when you leave due to poor ventilation (this is normal for small restaurants that fry their food - not picking on this place). I was the only one who sat there and ate. I think the 2 guys working there were embarrassed b/c they started cleaning around me.“

“Imagine going to Jack’s for the first time and they already mess up your order.

I paid extra for add-ons and specific customizations, only to open my food and see that it was made incorrectly. I was charged for items that were either missing or done the exact opposite of what I requested. If I’m paying for bacon, cheese, and modifications, I expect them to actually be on the burger — not ignored.

This wasn’t a complicated order, and I even ordered online to avoid mistakes. Instead, I wasted money and ended up disappointed before even taking my first bite. For a first impression, this was terrible.

If you’re going to charge customers for add-ons, make sure the order is right. I shouldn’t have to double-check my food every time, especially when I’m paying extra.“
