“We enjoyed our first visit here. The salsa was very tasty and the sweet tea was on point. My chicken empanada plate was enough for two meals. The chicken was perfectly seasoned...absolutely delicious. My wife's carnita quesadilla plate was equally generous and well seasoned. The service was friendly and we were warmly thanked as we left the restaurant. So now we will add this location to our list of Great Mexican Restaurants in Laurel. We haven't found a bad one yet.“

“I ordered eggplant parmigiana , hubby spaghetti w/marinara sauce
Eggplant sliced thin , stacked with cheeses and a good basil sauce. Hubby liked his entree, also . Had glaases of pino noir. Generous pours for $8.00. New server. Had a couple questions she couldn't answer but should have asked so she can know for other customers. She was very sweet.“

“I ordered menudo to go. Flavor was good however serving was full of hoof bones and only 6 pieces of tripe. I would recommend adding yellow hominy to the pot and send a couple warm corn tortillas along.“

“Good homemade country cooking at an affordable price. The food was hot and tasty. The restaurant has an old feel but everything looks updated. Blend of cultures can be found here. Lots of parking in the back for truckers. And the severs were mostly friendly.“

“Food was great, and the atmosphere was okay. I was expecting some Japanese music being played in the restaurant, but in stead there was no music being played. They did have TVs on with that was muted. The habachi chef seemed to be overworked because he was the only one doing it in the whole restaurant. He was a good chef, but he was worn down and going through the motions while he cooked. He has lost his showmanship and luster due to being worn down. Also they was short handed in thier waitress staff as well as there cooks and habachi chefs. Hopefully soon they can hire some more staff to make it 5 stars soon.“

“Overall the food was good for being 7:30 pm. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had in awhile. The chicken on a stick was good and not dry. The pepper steak over fried rice reminded me of the Chinese restaurant I went to as a kid. Definitely worth the money.“

“I came over here on Tuesday and liked it so much I came back to work in Laurel again today just so I could eat here again.
The pulled pork sandwich has great smokey flavor and the barbecue sauce is just enough to keep it moist without taking away from the taste. French fries and corn nuggets were good, but mid.. The fried okra was among some of the best I've had.
Great place to eat. And everyone knows it because I had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to order. Well worth it.“
