“Very nice restaurant, service was great, the building is all open so it can get a little loud in there but really love the old building. We got a pizza but seeing the other dishes come out of the kitchen I wish I would have gotten something else.“

“Great local place! When work brings you to Laurel you need to eat local! Yes this was the restaurant that was on the show Hometown. It has changes some since the show all for the good. I had the Strawberry salad with chicken. Super yummy and I loved the dressing. I did get the Key lime dessert to go. I am a Key Lime connoisseur and it did not disappoint. The service was great, sorry i can’t remember the girls name. She was awesome! The place had the porch you could also sit and eat.“

“In the quaint heart of our town, there lies a culinary jewel known as Vic's, a place where the art of biscuitry is not merely practiced but perfected. Upon entering, one is immediately enveloped by the warm embrace of buttery aromas, a prelude to the symphony of flavors that awaits. The biscuits, oh the biscuits! Each one is a testament to the craft of baking, made from scratch with a tenderness that could only be achieved by the hands of a devoted artisan. They are the very embodiment of comfort, with a golden crust that breaks with a satisfying snap, revealing a fluffy interior that seems to whisper tales of home and hearth. To dine at Vic's is to partake in a feast for the senses, where every morsel is a brushstroke on the canvas of culinary delight. It is a place where time slows, and the world outside fades to a distant hum, allowing one to savor the simple yet profound pleasure of a meal made with care and served with pride. In the immortal words of Mark Twain, "The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside." Well, if success is measured by the satisfaction of one's palate, then Vic's is the very definition of triumph. Five stars, without a shadow of a doubt, for this bastion of biscuits and beacon of Southern hospitality.“

“Hog Heaven has delicious food, astonishing workers, and great prices. They just catered my sister in laws wedding and they were the friendliest people. They helped with ANYTHING. The pulled pork is the best I have ever eaten. We had plenty of everything left over and have been eating on it for days. They are the hardest workers. All for a wonderful price vs other catering services!! They kept everything stocked, even things that they weren’t responsible for. They traveled all the way from Laurel to Purvis and did an outstanding job. If you want an event catered, this is the way to go!“
