“On May 25th we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely go back but I do not want Adam as my waiter ever again. The issue that I have with Adam as our waiter is this. When he passed by our table my husband put his finger up letting him know that we needed him. He brushed my husband off and told him that he would be back and he went on to other tables. When he finally came back through he didn’t stop like he said he would he passed by our table and went to another table. At first I was like ok but it kept happening. And every time Adam passed by he looked right at me in my eyes. So now we’re ready to go so we’re waiting and waiting because he told us that he would be back. Well when he came back he passed us up again and eventually my husband had to stop him and give him the check. We gave him our payment with a $20 tip but at first I wasn’t going to leave one but I said no I’m gonna do what’s right. But now I regret even leaving it. After he walked off we waited and waited and I noticed him walking to another table he looked me right in my eyes. And my thought process was like ok we gave him the money now clear us out so we can go. Another waiter walked by because he noticed me looking for our waiter we told him what was going on and we asked him if he can let Adam know to please give us our receipt. Adam then walked straight from the table where the other customer was and gave us our receipt. I thought to myself he had it on him all this time why did he let us wait this long to give us the receipt we could’ve been gone? I was going to make a complaint when I walked out but I was like no I’m going to write a review because I was ready to go because I was very irritated at this point.“

We placed our order upon arrival. However, she acknowledged hearing it but gave no valid reason for not putting it in. We had to request silverware multiple times. The royal reds were delicious as usual. However, Keyonte let the shells sit on the table for an extended amount of time despite there being little room for the oysters. We had to ask her to remove them. We asked her 2x for a to-go box. Finally, as we proceeded to self serve, Keyonte offered and delivered a box that was obviously too small for the oyster poboy and the check for $144.“

“My wife and I stopped over in Ridgeland during a recent road trip back to Texas. Our hotel was very close and convenient to Sombra. So glad we tried this restaurant. After reading many negative reviews, we were totally blown away with the food quality and service. This was one of the best meals we've had the entire road trip. Evan was our server and was so courteous and accommodating during our visit. This is a must try restaurant if you are in the area. We cannot wait for our next visit. You will not be disappointed.“
