“We came to this adorable little country restaurant for breakfast. The owner was the only one on service and she was super attentive and quick to get orders. We ordered your typical diner breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The sweet tea was on point. It's nice to have a real homemade sweet tea. The breakfast was fresh and seasoned good. We were treated with great southern hospitality and it was nice to be greeted by all the towns patrons when they came in. The cafe looks like an old wooden cabin. Reminds me of Virginia city. This was a great hidden gem. We will be back tomorrow as we are in town for a couple days.”

“Great coffee shop! I was in town for only half a day. I went in for a red eye before I left town. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The barista knew exactly what I was talking about when I ordered. It tasted amazing! The pastries looked delicious. I will definitely be returning when I'm back in Batesville.”

“Great food and extremely friendly staff! They were great. We came in late after being stuck in traffic and almost out of gas - not only did they work with us, but they offered to help us to the gas station. We made it, but they even checked on us to be sure we did! Food was great - we had Chef’s special filet and caramel cobbler for dessert. All homemade desserts and it shows! Worth the trip!”

“Food was great. First time at Huddle House. It would be fair to say it is a combination of IHOP and Waffle House. I had the bacon, sausage, and sausage gravy, stuffed hashbrown. I thought it was a great combination because having the items together allows you to taste them at once instead of stacking them individually on your fork.”

“CHICKEN SOUP, yes that is right. I go to Costa MEXICAN bar and grill for Chicken SOUP. It is really good, really hearty and soothes that need for comfort food and helps if you feel a bit under the weather.It has clean shredded chicken breast with mixed vegetables, (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and avocado), (I know what you are thinking, Warm avocado.... what...? I did too until..... I had it.) and Spanish rice. With a side of Lime and a side of onions.I normally have mine as a call-in order and pick it up. From what I gather the soup is not made as a large pot sitting getting sagi, rather it is made to order.I would recommend, next time you feel like you need some of mom's chicken soup call Costa and get their chicken soup.Thank you Costa on Batesville, MS”

“e was great , vegetable soup amazing , lunch special pulled pork with sweet potato , lima beans and roll very good , prices , good . about all I would say is some updating landscape in the front is needed . curbside appeal. . there were planters on porch but no plants . more plants needed in front , steps and base of the property needed up keep . outdoor patio needed all the tables to be displayed nicely , some were just stacked in a corner , they should be set up for a better atmosphere all together . all food and service was good , just work on some updates outside . flowers in planters . the outside is not how photos show .”

“Mrs Theresa and Mr Darrell have continued the great service and food traditions that Mrs Louise started here at Country Catfish. The food has been very consistent over the years and that's something in this day and age where suppliers come and go. The menu is consistent: fish, fries, onion rings, corn on the cob, slaw, and the regular condiments on the buffet - which they keep stocked but fresh - they do not over cook and have food sitting for hours. They also offer chicken strips, shrimp, etc to order from the menu. Drop by and check them out - I'll guarantee you'll find Mrs Theresa at the counter with her sweet smile to welcome you in.”

“This is the first visit to a Captain Ds in DECADES. We did drive thru b/c of convenience so I can't comment on atmosphere. I honestly think there was only 2 employees working so it some time for us to get our food but when we did get it, it was hot and very good. The bast fast food I've had in a LONG time. Kudos to Bobby and his coworkers. They were professional, polite and efficient . They deserve raises for their work.”

“We stopped in mid week for an early dinner - it was not crowded - service was okay. This is a locality owned and operated (mostly by family) restaurant that clearly has been there for some time. We ordered fried catfish one piece for my bride, three for me (should have gone with two) with onion rings. The meal comes with a salad bar - it was also just okay. Hush puppies were okay, but nowhere near as good as we have had elsewhere. I thought the fish and onion rings were very good with a light breading. Note: no adult beverages available.”

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they often don't include the cup of ranch that they're supposed to include, it may not sound like a big deal-but Buffalo wings are way better with ranch (to me) and it's hard to find good ranch like theirs.”

“First time eating here, and I'm definitely coming back! Went for breakfast at the Batesville location, went through the drive-thru and got my food in literally seconds. The person at window was so nice. Everything was hot and delicious. My drink actually tasted like the drink, not watered-down like other places. The biscuit was the best I've ever tasted. I'm 30+ miles away, but I will definitely make the drive to get their food.”

“Service was extremely slow due to being understaffed. The young lady working the front was very poised and handled the situation well. I'm sure the people in the back were doing the best that they could as well. It was 55 minutes from order to pizza time. It'll probably be Domino's next time. Pizza was very good. Management should do a better job with staffing and encourage the folks working that shift.”
