The burger was cooked properly and was served with what appears to be home made fries. Overall, the food tasted great and staff delivered great customer service.“

“It's been a while since we ate here but nothing has changed: superb food and service in a great atmosphere. We had pizza and chicken Marguerite which were excellent. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. Wait staff are friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Can't wait to come back soon!“

“The staff is always friendly, restaurant is always clean, food is always ready when I arrive after calling in, & always hot. & most times they'll even add a wonton or fried wing in with your order. Great sweet tea. Reasonably priced. Honey chicken wings or salt & pepper shrimp is my usual. The salt & pepper shrimp are large. You will have to ask them to peel & clean to make sure they are deveined. There is a small extra fee, but for me it's worth it.“

I was greeted promptly and offered a seat at the bar, and while I didn't order any special drinks, the bartender was very nice and made sure I had enough water to drink.

“On May 25th we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely go back but I do not want Adam as my waiter ever again. The issue that I have with Adam as our waiter is this. When he passed by our table my husband put his finger up letting him know that we needed him. He brushed my husband off and told him that he would be back and he went on to other tables. When he finally came back through he didn’t stop like he said he would he passed by our table and went to another table. At first I was like ok but it kept happening. And every time Adam passed by he looked right at me in my eyes. So now we’re ready to go so we’re waiting and waiting because he told us that he would be back. Well when he came back he passed us up again and eventually my husband had to stop him and give him the check. We gave him our payment with a $20 tip but at first I wasn’t going to leave one but I said no I’m gonna do what’s right. But now I regret even leaving it. After he walked off we waited and waited and I noticed him walking to another table he looked me right in my eyes. And my thought process was like ok we gave him the money now clear us out so we can go. Another waiter walked by because he noticed me looking for our waiter we told him what was going on and we asked him if he can let Adam know to please give us our receipt. Adam then walked straight from the table where the other customer was and gave us our receipt. I thought to myself he had it on him all this time why did he let us wait this long to give us the receipt we could’ve been gone? I was going to make a complaint when I walked out but I was like no I’m going to write a review because I was ready to go because I was very irritated at this point.“

“My wife and I stopped over in Ridgeland during a recent road trip back to Texas. Our hotel was very close and convenient to Sombra. So glad we tried this restaurant. After reading many negative reviews, we were totally blown away with the food quality and service. This was one of the best meals we've had the entire road trip. Evan was our server and was so courteous and accommodating during our visit. This is a must try restaurant if you are in the area. We cannot wait for our next visit. You will not be disappointed.“

“My boyfriend ordered a large salad with grilled chicken it was delicious and also very large. I ordered a shrimp po-boy, it had lots of delicious shrimp on it with all the trimmings. My disappointment was with the bread itself. I would have given the food 5 stars if they would use French bread the kind like New Orleans French bread. Then all of my orders would have been 5 stars. They also have a live band, only wish they would have started earlier and have had more cooling or fans on the outside where the band was. It just got too hot so we had to leave. We would have spent more money there if it weren't for that. We still recommend Shuckers a great place.

Parking: No problem, we were able to park right at the entrance. The place was full with plenty of parking to spare. ?

The catfish has a flavor like no other..jalapeño cornbread was on point, greens were tasty and the coleslaw is the ONLY slaw I will ever eat(sorry grandmom).
