“Restaurant Review: To-Go Order I recently ordered takeout from a local restaurant and wanted to share my experience. Catfish: The catfish was excellent! It was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection, making it a standout dish. Fries: The fries were freshly cut, fried, and well-seasoned. They were crispy and delicious, complementing the meal nicely. Coleslaw: The coleslaw had great flavor, but the texture left something to be desired. It was too watery and not creamy enough for my taste. Okra: Unfortunately, the fried okra was a letdown. It was fried soft and lacked any seasoning, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it unless this is your preference. Hushpuppies: The hushpuppies were by far the highlight of the meal! They were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. Overall, while there were a few misses, the catfish and hushpuppies made the order worthwhile!”

“Came with a group of ladies for Galentine's Day to play SINGO and we all had a blast!! It's definitely on the "let's do that again" list. The host was absolutely on her game, no pun intended. She was fun, interactive and helpful when we needed it. We will be back to play again!!”

“Chicago Steakhouse at Gold Strike has become our go‑to in Tunica, and it starts with their lobster tempura. The lobster is soft and succulent, with a light, crisp coating, and the accompanying sauce really brings the dish together—bright, creamy, and the perfect complement.

We also enjoyed the pork chops, braised short ribs, and a soup. All were delicious, but the short ribs were the showstopper: fall‑apart tender and packed with so much flavor that we kept going back for another bite. The soup earned high praise at our table; my husband called it fantastic and the best he has had in his life.

On a previous visit I tried the lamb, which didn’t stand out as much compared to the other dishes. Still, with such consistently well‑executed plates (and that unforgettable lobster tempura), Chicago Steakhouse remains an easy recommendation for a satisfying dinner in Tunica.”

“My 1st time here was 2022 around the same time and I count down the days till we come back. The food is amazing, it's priced right, the staff is amazing and you leave full. We'll definitely be going several more times during our vacation.”

“Sam’s needs to update and add more lighting. It’s a very dreary place at night and the road is very dark. The food at Smokey Joes was very good! The restaurant staff was very friendly. No waiting,the food was great and cooked with perfection! Staff was polite and respectful,not standing around on their phone. They had smiles on their face and ready to serve! Good job!!”

“My friend and I had dinner there. The service, the food and the ambiance were exceptional. The only thing better was my dinner date. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We loved our waitress, Jen! Very helpful with menu selection. My dinner companion watched me as I ate my appetizer of scallops. He commented that I really must have enjoyed them, because I smiled so much while eating. Definitely would recommend this steakhouse to friends and family.”

“This establishment is always extremely dirty. The associates are extremely rude. "We closed lobby early". People in the lobby and it was 2 hours before closing. No courtesy, no difference in ordering to-go there or get in car and order it through window. 0 stars. Don't eat here until they get their area in order”

“Says on the site Cooke medium to medium well unless otherwise specified so I ordered medium rare…not a sign of pink in the burger. Wasn’t taking another 5 minute walk from the room to complain

“We stayed at the Hollywood Hotel and ate here. Spicy chicken sandwich and chicken quesadilla and fries. The chicken quesadilla def lacked flavor but overall the food was good.”

“This is a bar and grill is inside a casino. Food was really good. Smoked baby back ribs were meaty and tender. A half order is still enough for most people to share. Fried catfish was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The onion ring tower was piled with large tempura battered rings which were great. Even the sides were good. My baked beans had a generous amount of ground beef making a hearty side dish. Will definitely go again if we are in the area.”

I also got a cheesecake and it was alright too. For it to be packed at 3 am, they did an awesome job getting everyone out as quick as they could”

“My wife and I joined guys last weekend the food took a little longer than expected but the customer service by the manager Robert Shindler was outstanding he stopped by our table a couple of times to check on us and emphasized and apologized for our wait you could see that. This gentleman genuinely cares about our guest experience we observed him talking to the others patrons and displaying the same care. At the end of our dinning Mr.Shindler surprised us with a 7 layer chocolate cake this made our night it was as such a delicious surprise thank you Robert for turning what could have been a bad experience into an excellent one Mr. Fieri Mr.Shindler is a keeper we will definitely be back to see him he even gave us his business card with his cell phone number on it and advised to call him if we ever needed anything special set up for at the table for our next visit. Thank You Robert”

“We've visited Spuds Etc on two occasions. We are familiar with the owner/cook and server from another restaurant. We have been very pleased with the food we've ordered. I think most of the items are homemade. I esp. love their fries, but some of the items are too spicy for my taste (probably just fine for others). As others have mentioned, there is only one cook and one server, so be prepared for service to be a bit slower than you'd expect. So if you're not in a hurry and have some time, stop by and enjoy the simple, friendly atmosphere.”
