“Sometimes the best stops aren't the ones you plan, they're the ones you discover because you missed your turn and followed your curiosity.
We found Loping Crow Distillery while searching for nearby restaurants, and I'm so glad we did.
The owners are the kind of people who make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and that energy flows into every part of the business. Everything was spotless, organized, and thoughtfully put together, but what stood out most was how down to earth and kind they were.
We had the chance to chat with them and even captured a short video. They were warm, genuine, and clearly proud of what they've built together. It's refreshing to meet people who love both their business and each other, it creates an atmosphere that's hard to describe but easy to feel.
They host live events, which normally isn't my scene, but their relaxed and welcoming vibe actually made me reconsider. That's saying something. 😊
Since we were still driving, Ray and I shared a single drink, but it was enough to know we'll be back.

“Had an awesome time sampling a flight of sweet wines while enjoying the amazing view from their decks. The tasting room area is outstanding. We also enjoyed chatting with the hostess that was there during our visit and found out about the families military service.
Such a great story. If your in the area this is a great stop and chance to support a local business and Devoted military family. We left with 8 bottles of wine to enjoy back in Lancaster,PA.
