“I found out about seafood destiny on instagram by accident, however, it was the best accident that could have ever happened lol. This was the first time my daughter and I had food from this restaurant, and I swear the salmon broil and the crab broil can only be describe by two words Absolutely Delicious!!!!! Keep up the good work!! We will be back :-)“
“This was an unusual and great dining experience for us. Our party arrived separately, and my father had difficulty finding the restaurant, because of it's location tucked back behind the main businesses off of North Main Street. I got a call from him, rather frantic, when I just came to the hostess station. The hostess was super helpful with him and even talked him through the steps to get to the restaurant, spending at least five minutes on the phone with him during a busy time. She was so patient and helpful. I regret that I did not get her name. Once we all arrived our dining experience continued to be excellent. Our server, Freya, was also patient, warm and welcoming and by the end of the dinner almost felt like family as she was so friendly with us. We had food allergies among our party and she was very helpful with those. She brought us a separate menu with plenty of items that were marked clearly for allergies. None in our party had any allergic reactions that evening. The food and wine was fantastic, and we left satisfied. Even though we took a long time because of the difficulty in getting there, no one so much as hinted at any inconvenience for the restaurant. Many restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays, and this was a birthday dinner, so it was nice to find one of the finest restaurants in town available on that evening. We will definitely be back.“
“I ate here tonight and it’s Probably the better of the two red crabs in Greensboro. Good food , and fast . Tyler was our server and really looked after us. Not just that but all the servers seemed to care. Recommend 10 out of 10 when wanting seafood in Greensboro.“
“Had errands up in Thomasville, so went back to Cross Ties. Got there before the lunch rush. Food was good as was the service. Had their Rueben with twisted friesWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, I am using a walker due to some sciatica issues. Had no issues getting in building or moving around tables“
“FANTASTIC meals as we visited the city! We had the cashew chicken and seafood combination vegetable stir fry, as well as satay chicken appetizer. They were so good! We've been to many Thai restaurants and this, frankly, has positioned itself at the top of our list! We'll have to stop back again when we visit the city in the future. Our server, Frances, was outstanding! She "knew the product", had cheerful table side presence, was very courteous and attentive, and was helpful with her suggestions on the menu. Wonderful experience!“
“The first time I ate from this rwaturqnt the food was excellent. I fell in love with the zucchini fries and dipping sauce. I was there about 2 wks ago and ordered Teo plates. I was told after I ordered and paid that they only had 1 croaker. I said, ok, it happens. I really really wanted croaker for my husband because he loves it. I wasn't happy with my food after I got home. I gave it to my husband. The fish is not the same taste and the zucchini fries were hard and dry. Seems like the cooks changed since the last time I ate there. It was too overcooked with no taste. I wasn't happy at all.“
“Always my go to spot on Friday nights after work. That Whiting fish and bone in Croaker is delicious its always fresh and fried just perfect. This is what I got 2/16/24 for $12.99 I ask for no fries and he normally gives me extra hushpuppies very disappointed ?“
“Love cheap oyster Monday! Great beer. Sometimes I'm not sure what the kitchen staff is doing. The team shucking oysters is always killing it and the kitchen food can be so slow. They completely forgot my crab soup and it took 45 minutes for Calamari.Parking: Really small lot behind the restaurant but street parking downtown.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly place!“
“This is one of the BEST seafood restaurants in Greensboro!1. Not just because it’s black owned.2. Not just because the food is well seasoned and delicious.3. It’s also because the customer service is outstanding. The owner is a pastor. He is very kind and down to earth to his customers. His staff is always friendly at every location that I’ve been to. (There is currently two locations in Greensboro and one in Chapel Hill). So what sets this seafood restaurant apart from the rest in Greensboro? Well besides all of the reasons above, the location here at the Greensboro mall offers fried crab legs (you can get the clusters fried or get them fried without the shell). I bought them both ways. Pictured are the fried crab leg clusters, fried crab legs without the shell, fried asparagus, baked beans and shrimp Mac and cheese). YES I said SHRIMP MAC AND CHEESE!!The food is throughly seasoned!!! When I cracked opened my crab legs, the chunks of crab meat on the INSIDE tasted WONDERFULLY SEASONED. I need the secret. It must be the anointing in the food. If you haven’t already, go check them out. Tell them google reviews sent you!!!“
“I had an amazing time at Tripps. I was advised by my hotel that this was one of the best local eateries in the area. I took my family there and I can say that they did not disappoint.Prior to going there, we reviewed the menu online and identified a lot of options. We got there and were presented with additional specials that we considered, as well. We settled on a delicious assortment - spring rolls, crab cakes, Thai chili shrimp, State Street Burger, and hand-breaded chicken tenders.Out of all of the choices we made, not one of them was a miss. The proportions of our entree options were MORE than enough. Our server was absolutely friendly and did her best in working with a very busy room. To top it off, we ordered a cheesecake that looked incredible, to say the least (with strawberry topping). It was enough to be shared amongst 2-3 people - if you were feeling generous.I definitely will keep this restaurant at the top of my list whenever I'm back in the area. This was a great experience!“
“It is an old school restaurant with great food. They have a menu with a lot of choices including a great breakfast selections. They also have a buffet line in which they serve you.On the buffet they offer 4 meat choices and eight or ten vegetable choices. I had Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and greens. It was one of the best meals I have had this month. This is a great southern style restaurant with excellent Mediterranean choices also.Go and check it out!“
“Great place for buying fish in bulk! The staff was very warm and friendly and recommended add on items based on my purchases. I needed fish for an event and they were helpful over the phone, assured me they had it in stock, and when I arrived they quickly handled my requests. This is my first time here but it definitely won't be my last. Extremely clean!“
“I ate the whole quesadilla! It was so delicious! I had the grilled shrimp quesadilla a la carte. It was plenty for lunch. Chips served warm. I also had a peach margarita. YUM! Husband had the Faita Burrito plate. He ate the whole plate so must have been great. Great staff, great food, very clean facility. Our first trip here and worth going back!“
