“It is a typical Subway shop. Our sandwiches were good. We had to wait awhile because there was only one worker in the store. He had to ring-up the order, then prepare it. If paying with cash, this shop doesn't accept bills above $20. They also don't do BOGOs.
Parking: It is a parking lot for a strip mall shopping center. Handicap spaces are available. The lot is paved except for a small section which is cobblestone.
Wheelchair accessibility: The walk to the shop is concrete. There are no barriers. Access through the shop's door should not be a problem.“

“An enjoyable lunch experience. The line worker was friendly and greeted upon entry. Got my sandwich out in great time and with a smile. The table I sat at was a little dirty for the store to have just opened but other than that, a very clean dining area.“

“On a beach trip from Raleigh, my friends and I will never miss a YUMMY trip to SUB TROPICS. And there are many! It is conveniently located at the beach on the main road, Ford Macon Road en route to the Circle and other Atlantic Beach public shorelines. Beachgoers can shop local and stop in for something refreshing and will love colorful Sub Tropics - a sandwich, wrap and smoothie spot that's located in the heart of Atlantic Beach, just off the Atlantic Beach Causeway. I love what one review on google said, "cheerful customization from the chief, Charles." I also added a pic of some dolphins we saw. Be kind to the animals tho and be sure pick up all of your trash while at the beach. Stop in to SUB TROPICS for a treat on your next beach vacay.“
