“Super authentic food! I’m Mexican and I am sooo picky about authentic restaurants. Even though there is no diner to sit in. You can take home some very delicious & authentic dishes. They are very kind, have a variety of salsas, from not spicy to really spicy. All types of meats and meals. They even offer different rice and beans and not a lot of places like these do. I used to drive to Winston-Salem. But I’m glad there is this one closer to home and much better taste. “My family and I are VERY picky when it comes to Mexican food because we prefer authentic Mexican food. We do NOT like any of the other Mexican restaurants in our area. When we finally tried Campesino, we were pleasantly surprised, and have pretty much visited one to two times per week ever since (and we were never previously ones to sit down at restaurants, we would just grab takeout). We love this place SO MUCH. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, so fun and colorful. Incredible service, great prices, awesome variety of fresh, authentic food options. “We went there only once. Nice environment, and we were greeted by a friendly host, and service was good.As far as food goes, we ordered 4 different items, the portion is extra large, but taste was mediocre. To be fair, we plan to visit again and try different items.“

“We came here after my kid’s soccer game because it was close by. We live two hours away. The service was very good and fast. The employees are so friendly. Super clean bathrooms. I definitely recommend the Carnitas Nachos, super filling and so freaking good, we get it all the time! “La carreta is spacious with lot's of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a wide variety of dishes. The bar is fully stocked and ready for any request. We enjoyed our dishes and definitely love coming here. They play music is but not too loud. Love the art work around the restaurant. Nice place for family and friends to enjoy.0“

“I've been working in Winston Salem for a couple of months now and I drive back and forth past this place and I've never went in, BUT I went in last night and JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL was I blown away lol. Never did I expect this to be a Mexican restaurant. It was bursting with energy when i got inside. The music was playing, and people were singing it was just a total vibe. I looked over the menu and picked what I thought looked the best to me, and I waited, ? when my server put my food in front of me, my eyes lit up. It was visually beautiful. And then it tasted soooooooooooo good. I was blown away by just the different flavors, and everything worked together. I will be back in here multiple times trying everything on the menu A++++++“

“A quaint family owned restaurant offering authentic Mexican food. We eat here at least once if not twice a week. Their cheese dip is the best around, and so are their prices. I’ve only ever had an issue with things being missing when I order take out; but they’ve been nice and fixed them.“

The margaritas are also quite delicious .They have seating out back and seating inside for multiple options.It can def get a bit pricy depending, but the food is def worth it!Parking: In the academy sports area so there is plenty of parking!“

“We LOVE Mi Pueblo on Stratford Rd! Our company has been having group meetings there every first Saturday monthly since January 2023. The Manager, Angel, is accommodating, friendly and professional. Erin, our number one waitress, is exceptional. She is efficient, professional, and super friendly. On top of amazing management and service, the food is always delicious. Great location, staff, food, and meeting room. Like I said, we LOVE Mi Pueblo.“
