“Found this little gem just driving through from one town to the next and it seemed to have plenty of business inside and drive-through and we love to find these little town diners and try them out (which is usually hit or miss) but this one was a great find and it's American family owned. The people were super nice and so on top of it- we said our drink and like a split second later it was right in front of us (speediest service ever) and the man taking our order was so nice and personable. It was a real pleasure to go there and if I see a chuck wagon steak on a menu which is rare to find these days so I always have to get it and it was the best chuckwagon sandwich I have ever had- pure quality (unlike most other places these days that have cheapened all their products for higher profit and it shows). My mother also had a BBQ plate and loved it and I had corn nuggest with my sandwhich which were delightful- I also appreciate how they let you substitute the fries for any other side items cause that's another thing that places aren't allowing for as much these days either. I highly recommend getting off the interstate on your way through and drive on over to McDonald's Family Restaurant where they are doing things like the good ol' days.“

“The pizza's are always good cooked the way they should be.The pan pizza's are my favorite because of the thick and buttery crusts. The ingredients are so good. Haven't ever had a problem with them. The staff at the Bessemer City NC store is so friendly. Great job!!!“

“The NICEST husband and wife run business!! I stopped by on a trip home for a sandwich, which was fantastic, but I accidentally dropped my wallet. They found it and held onto it for me until I was able to pick it up. Who does that these days?? Amazing people and I’ll be visiting again to thank them everytime I drive to or from Charlotte.“

“Food was great as always. This could have been a five star review if the guy/girl running the register had understand even the most remote inkling of what it means to hurry. The poor girl heading up the line, well, she was excellent. She knew how to move faster when the orders started backing up. To see her do her job was actually amazing as it was like watching a maestro directing a symphony.
