“I do not know what culinary sorcery they have used for their pancakes with vanilla bean syrup but l am here for it. Those are the best pancakes I have had in my 50 years of life. The sausage patties, the biscuits and gravy, the holiday mimosas, and the service was unbelievable. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they all work as a team. We will be back again....and again...and again. :)“

“We loved The Trailhead Restaurant and are already planning our next visit. Definitely order the Trailhead Burger 🍔 And the Appalachian Salad is a MUST !!! We can’t wait to try other menu options.“
“Dined here 5/8/12 for lunch and it was outstanding! Sloppy Jane special, kale salad and vegan potato salad. Washed it down with a few glasses of chlorophyll water and was good to go all day long. Nice varied menu and creative dishes. Nice folks work here and the service was very good. Can't wait to eat here again soon!“

“Wood fired pizza is not my favorite style overall but it’s pizza and I love all things pizza. Now that said this pizza was quite delicious! I highly recommend and I will return with each visit to Black Mtn from now on.“

“Absolutely spectacular and authentic latin cuisine that hits the spot. The ropa vieja bowl was cooked to absolute perfection, with every element of the bowl pulling its weight perfectly for what felt like an authentic home cooked meal. I highly recommend stopping here if for lunch or dinner if you want to have a delicious dining experience.“
