Mexican Rock Restaurant Reviews
After driving past Mexican Rock several times, I decided to stop in and try the food for the first time. Ngl, best food we've had in Blowing rock for years. Don't miss out!
The best dinner experience in a long time. Emma, our server, was awesome. The food was better than expected and absolutely perfect. Tasted so fresh and clean. The ribeye was a large steak and cooked to perfection, which rarely happens when he orders steak. We enjoyed the music. We ate here when it was foggy rock, because we could bring our dog. Still dog friendly!!! We will be back soon!

The Mexican Rock Restaurant is a popular spot known for its tasty food and friendly staff. This family-owned restaurant offers a variety of standout dishes, including the sailor's spaghetti with a generous amount of seafood, the high-quality taco salad, and the flavorful tacos. The Bomb Potatoes are huge and loaded with delicious fillings. There is a kid-friendly menu and accommodations for dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free and vegan options. The outdoor patio adds a nice touch, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Parking is convenient, with an overflow lot available on the left side of the building.
The restaurant's decor and ambiance are fun and lively, featuring a rock-style vibe with stone décor and a nostalgic touch, such as a photo of El Chavo del 8 on the wall. Customers praise the genuine kindness of the staff, especially an excellent server named Santiago, who goes out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Portions are large, and the menu offers a wide range of options at fair prices. While the restaurant may be a bit pricier, the quality of the food is consistently good, making it a great spot for friends or family gatherings.
