“Came here on weekend trip. Love the atmosphere here! We ordered the Mojo Burrito along with the soup and sammy. Tomato soup was delicious and smokey from the gouda. The burrito has a really good kick with the pineapple chunks. Our server Bri was very helpful guiding us on what to order and was quick to attend to our needs! The Apple cider is also amazing and refreshing if you’re looking for something refreshing and dry. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get grilled cheese and soup on a cold day.“
“I went here after a App State football game, the place was packed and it was only a hour before closing time, this place is so freaking good it's not even funny, I had the crab bisque, and it would knock your socks off with how awesome it tasted, they had many bartenders ready to make any drink you could think of, the waiters were checking in every few minutes so there was no way you could go without a refill, the French fries were made just perfect, with a slight crunch and just the right amount seasoning, if you've got the time hit this place up, you won't regret it.“
“My wife and I went for dinner. There were dishes that were amazing and some just ok, but overall a great meal. The service was lackluster. The views and atmosphere make it a pretty amazing experience. Next time we’ll try to get a room before it books up.“

“This food was INCREDIBLE!! We had steak, delicious, done to perfection! I had the trout..pecan crusted..fantastic! Ceaser salad was even extra delicious! Flatbread w steak and cheese...yummy! “Food & drinks: The restaurant and service was amazing. We had Stephen and he was extremely attentive. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and it was literally the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of LowCountry Shrimp and Grits). The cocktails were delicious also. Now my husband and I want to go back and stay for a weekend.“
“We have enjoyed The Best Cellar many times over the years and it remains consistently good. This time we had a small group and sat in the cellar. It was a bit chilly but not unbearable. We ordered three different steaks, each person preferring their choice, which was a bit humorous as the idea was to share. Each steak was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. For desert we ordered the banana cream pie. You can tell how good it was given the lack of a picture. Did not have a chance! The service was outstanding as well. If you are in Blowing Rock this is a great place.“

She asked what I usually drank and came back with a few samples she recommended. She was spot on. The beer was great.We ordered and appetizer, burger, and chicken sandwich. “My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a long day of work. Our favorite place in Blowing Rock closed down so we wanted to try something new. We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was friendly and got us a table. We were a bit under dressed since we work in construction but we were treated with great service despite that. Burlene was our server and she was excellent. Food was hot and delicious, beer was cold, and dessert was wonderful. We would definitely come again“
“Besides the fact that they have the best burgers both beef and veggie, they have a lunch special every day. Absolutely delicious. And don't worry about it being in a pool hall. The owner, Chris, is always there. No smoking, no drinking, no cussing and be careful with the first class equipment. Plus you can eat with your dog on the nice porch.“
