“I bought a plain hot latte. The flavor was great. Good price, too. The atmosphere of this place was fantastic. Cozy, fun seating. Service animal friendly (edited from my original review; I misunderstood the dogs I saw there.) Friendly people and prompt service. Activities for kids that I had trouble getting my kid to finish with when it was time. The chalk station under the stairs was genius. I did not get any bakery treats as I was pretty full, but they looked amazing. My family also enjoyed browsing the store that shares space with the bakery/coffee shop. Go here if you're in Bryson City!“

“My family and are I are extra thankful this year for the kindness and generosity of Jeff and Pam Pulley, the owners of Mountain Perks Espresso Bar & Cafe. Two weeks ago, my kids and I came to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express train with friends. GPS said I was only .5 of a mile away from my destination, but my car got stuck on the rocky road on a very steep mountain and I had no cell service. Turns out I inadvertently got lost very high up on the mountain (later we would found out I was 20 minutes away from the house we were staying). My kids and I walked to the nearest house that had a light on, and by the grace of God, Jeff and Pam took us in and helped us. Jeff and his neighbor, Keith, also got my car out of the ditch I backed into, and my kids and I were still able to make the train ride. Jeff and Pam didn’t have to open up their door and help three complete strangers, but they did with open arms. Jeff and Keith didn’t have to get my car out, but they did. Let this story remind you that there are truly amazing people in this world; Jeff and Pam (and Keith) are angels walking among us! My kids and I visited Jeff and Pam at their coffee shop the next morning, and let me just say, their food and coffee are delicious! I highly recommend going there if you are ever in Bryson City, and they are located right across from the train station!“
